Hi Marc,AWSOME SETUP mate, Im Planning to get the shift + , should I get the DFGT connection on the frex website? i got G27, what connector should I get with the Shift+ to directly connect to G27 without wiring? sorry a picture of the connection from the Frex+shifter to the G27 might be awesome if you have them,

it's just i dont' want to wire /solder my g27 unless necessary ( ie FREX handbrake maybe to the Cirlcle button), or if there is an alternatives like a USB hub convert directly to G27 connector below the steering wheel. therefore all the frex Devices just connect to the HUB.

Sorry I sounded like I threw a thousand question at you, but need to know before i made my purchase, Thanks in Advance

hey thanks boons, Ireally only want the Sequential shifter as the G27 gear is ok for me right now, not planning to spend $500 plus on a H-patern...yet :dopey:

For DFGT,you can ask Frex on their forum, Shop keeper can answer you all he known, also can provide picture if he do.
If you talking about my case, my Frex shift+ sequential shifter are not connect to G27 directly, it's connect to my DIY usb device hubs,
This hubs work well on GT5, also can use with any steering wheel include DFGT,no need to wired anything on the wheel,
but can add such as horn button, sequential shifter, handbrake for complete control.

The shift+ come with a 6pin mini din connecter for standalone usb adapter connection

& a extended cable with 3 bare wire for other wiring, I wire it on a 5pin mini din plug for my hubs connection.

If you a pc sim player and don't play console,you can get a usb controller from frex , make the shifter be a stand alone shifter on pc.

I can seriously told everyone , if you spend $514USD on it is completely wasting your money. Forget about it. Nothing better, you can adjust the stiffness in a wide range,can be much more stiff to the Original,
but the spiral for centering that inside the shifter just too weak, need take a long long time to get used to it. Also , the neutral position have few second delay,but seem not a big problem in GT5.👎

The sequential shifter shift+ not that high,but still expansive.Anyway,it's still a affordable price range with good quality And I must say,the frex shifter not much high end but the price. If G27 user seriously need a sequential shifter,
I honestly recommend this.
 
I would love to see some pictures with your rig and area around it cleaned up. Maybe with a DSLR? More lighting. And to make it easier to follow you can go back to your first post and update it. FYI

Are you using a PS3 controller to connect to the buttons on the panel?
If so, how long are the wires that you are using?

I have a problem with my one in that I am picking up noise on the extended wires, and I am wondering how you are dealing with it. I am going to have to solder resistors to deal with my problem.

I using a PS3 controller board , fit it in the buttons box,
so the wire can as short as possible ,the longest one inside the box not over a palm, around 7 inches long.
The longest one out side the box ,I think is the Horn button wire, it's pass through the G27 body, then get into the box, I think is around 1m long.
 
Brilliant work, lots of ingenuity and I'm sure you're very happy with the result. Best console setup I've ever seen, thanks for sharing!

I think full set include buttkicker simulation kit and G27E mod is around 5500USD:yuck: But because I build it step by step in half year,no need to paid all in one time, so still affordable to me.💡

The most pricy parts is the G27E ,FREX H-SHIFTER ,PERFECT PEDAL & the 3MON SYSTEM,but The D.I.Y. dashboard & control unit just very cheap.:dopey:

The Wipers & Beam Control stick have a wire socket connector, both have7-8 wire to output proper control signal.You need to find out the ground wire and signal wires combination. Than connect the wire to your T500rs PCB or second controller PCB act as a button.(such as PS3 DS3 or USB GAME PAD )
I'm using a 3rd party DS3 controller board ,which can use on PS3 / windows pc. Because I haven't took much picture during process , so...
But the works are very simple, just like doing chilicoke handbrake mod x N times.
