Thanks Ghertel, I'm certainly no expert on this whole Photomode part of the GT series, can't say I ever tried it too much in GT4, but I think with the new system, and HD tv's, it's a game in itself! I was pretty pleased with how the Chev came out, it's still one of my favorite vehicles in GT, so I wanted to do a good job capturing it.

I really dig how these next two turned out, it just seems I've lost a bit of the lighting somewhere between capturing them on my TV, and bringing them up on here. Either that or I screwed up the exposure on them. They looked a whole let better on my TV though.
Never the less...

Took my R32 for a shoot in the hanger tonight. Again I'm having problems with lighting. It looks so sweet on my tv, but up here, not so much. Anyone else having this sort of trouble?

Awesome gallery! I epecially like the 1st set and some of those other Lambos:tup:
P.S. I've just taken some shots that are quite similar to yours of that Cobra at special stage route 7, but honestly I've seen your gallery for the 1st time today, so I'm not imitating. ;) I'm just going to upload them so you can check them out in my gallery if you want;)

I really like this latest set, it's so simple but it's very very effective in giving the car a nice dark, moody look. The wheels look brilliant too, good choice!

I'd say, on the Chev, Job well done. I have the lighting problems too, don't know what to do about it but it is verry annoying. I think the pictures turned out pretty good, especially the last one.

It's the last one that bothered me the most too! Maybe I'm being a little fussy.

Good to hear your thoughts.

Thanks Moglet, it's good to have such a talented eye cast over my work 👍

Not saying that anyone else who has left their thoughts isn't talented! If you've seen Moglets pictures, you'll know where I'm coming from haha

A couple more of my R32 having a whizz around the Daytona Road Course.
I don't know why, but I really like shooting this one

I had a little fiddle in Photoshop with this one, I don't really know what I'm doing, sort of mucked around with levels and curves a bit.
It's all very much trial and error for me haha

This shot is impressive stuff right here. There's a foreground, middleground and background with lines going through all three. And it' a neat angle of the cars. It's very well composed.

My only issue is, and I know you said you haven't really edited your photos in the first post, but I can't help thinking that shot could be dramatically improved by playing with the brightness/contrast. Toscana has some beautiful settings and can create some interesting backdrops and lines, but it's a bit bright in the daylight. Another thing you could do is adjust the EV in photomode.

When I make a Toscana circuit I usually set mine to 19:00 time, it brings back the detail in the sky (for the most part) and it creates very long shadows to play with. Also known as "Magic Hour."

I like much of the recent work with the F430 and most of the stuff on Page 3, some very good shots there! 👍 :D

I might have a play around in PS with that photo you like then. See what I can come up with...
Thanks for the advice on "magic hour" it's things like that I don't even know to think about when it comes to shooting! So any advice is well appreciated :)

I like your first R32 shot in the hanger, nice mood and light.

I also quite like the 2nd shot on the daytona course. Has a good sense of action and story.
