Games you’re excited for in 2025

: Flight Simulator 2024 to finally be in a working state as it’s still absolutely bobbins as I only fly in VR and it’s crap at the moment

Nothing on my list that hasn't already been mentioned above. I only have consoles (Series S and PS4), so AC Evo is top of my list for 2026 (hopefully early in 2026). In fact 2026 is more promising than 2025 for me, as I'm thinking FH6 will probably be late 2026 release, so that could be the perfect year for me.
As for 2025, I think this will be a backlog year for me, unless we get a surprise announcement of another driving game.

Jurassic Park Survival (not 100% sure this will be out in 2025)

And if DLC counts I am looking forward to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants.

I'm not usually interested in these remakes/remasters of old games I played years before but Oblivion holds a special place in my heart. I bought a Xbox 360 Arcade specifically to play it, it was the 1st console I'd purchased myself. I still have the Prima guide for the game on my bookshelf. Almost certainly will be getting this new version if it's not exclusive to Xbox.

This game looks like a fun mix of GTA2 and Mafia 2. I love the destructible environments and the '50s theme.

There are only two games that I’m truly excited about this year; TXR and JDM.

Both of them will see a Steam release first and then a console release will be considered. I can wait for JDM but I need TXR injected directly into my veins like yesterday.

I can’t even think of anything else that even managed to pique my interest the slightest. Not even GTA6 nor AC:Evo.

Edit : My dumb*** forgot about Wreckfest 2. Hopefully it will see a 2025 release too.

I’d like to add three (indie) games to my list that are already Day One purchases:

• Rooftops & Alleys
• Over the Hill
• Sword of the Sea

R&A releases June 17th on consoles which will be an excellent way to start my summer vacation.

Unsure if OtH will release on consoles this year but it is pretty much what I had in mind when wanting a off-road scouting game ever since Mudrunner. Expeditions haven’t lived up to that expectation.

SotS is made by GiantSquid and looks like a mixture of their previous games Journey and my personal favourite, Abzu. It supposed to release this year if I’m not mistaken.
