Gauging Interest - Spec Mini 1.3i '98 Racing -Mighty Minis

Hello everyone! For quite a while now, I have been looking at running spec racing series based off of the Mighty Minis Racing Series based off of the Super Mighty Minis class.

Race stewards would end up being myself and Exorcet . We're testing racing at Autumn Ring Mini, Cape Ring Inside, Eiger Norwand Short Track, Grand Valley East, London, Madrid, Monaco, and Top Gear Test Track. Any suggestions would be more than welcome. We're looking to start this series up in the fall, perhaps sometime around mid-September or maybe October. Right now we're still testing, but getting a good focus on what the interested drivers would prefer would help us out. Also, if anyone needs a Mini 1.3i '98 to compete, I can send you one. If you do the A Spec Mini Challenge in-game, you will win the Mini Cooper 1.3i ‘98 as well.

• Tires: Currently Testing: Sports Hard
• Suspension: Fully Customizable Kit
• Drivetrain: Single Plate Clutch
• Transmission: Must Remain Stock
• Exhaust: Exhaust Manifold
• Intake: Racing Air Filter
• Engine: Must Remain Stock
• Forced Induction: Prohibited
• Chassis Reinforcement: Prohibited
• Weight Reductions: Windshield Weight Reduction ONLY
• HP Cap: Currently testing for full break-in
• Minimum Weight: 710kg
• Performance Points Cap: currently testing

• Driving Aides:OFF (except for ABS)
• Grip Reduction on Track Edges: Real
• Damage: Heavy (to encourage cleaner racing)
• Tire Wear/Fuel Consumption: ON
• Racing Order: Fastest First for the first race, then Reverse Grid Order for subsequent races.

Yours isn't doing it to spec, though - you have the '07 max-tuned, whereas we're planning to do it to specs with the supercharged '05. I'm glad you like the idea of the Mighty Minis, though!

I couldn't find the Mini Challenge's specs so I gave drivers tuning freedom. I wish I could find them.

Ok, well here's the link for the specs. There's 3 classes: the Club, the Club Sport (S), and the John Cooper Works Challenge (JCW) class. The specs I have up on the OP are for the Club Sport. Glad to have you on for the Mighty Minis!

As soon as that Mighty Mini series is up, I'll be the first to join! Although, I'm not sure I have one.

By the way is that a Miata in your avatar? My laptop's screen is to dark and turning up the back light didn't help.

Cool. I see your series needs drivers still - I'll post an expressed interest and some suggestions, since I've done some of research already on it. And yeah, that is a Miata in my avatar - with the reflection of a tree on the hood You can easily get a Mini '98 from one of the in-game cups. Or... I could send you a stock one.

In light of the fact that EliteDreamer has asked me to be a race steward for the ORB-sanctioned MINI Challenge, I'll probably be changing this series to Might Minis only.
