I really wouldnt be holdin your breath for any info from GDC, this is sony and PD we're talkin about here......

There are no conferences from Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo this year.
Apparently they are keeping GDC for developers and not for the companies to use it to announce hardware etc..
Saying that there is nothing to stop PD holding their own presentation.
Fingers crossed though. Hopefully its not going to be the Nascar video shown.

I really think GDC is a complete non starter for info on GT5, E3 would be my best guess but then i thought we'd get something good from last years show and all we got was another video.....

Maybe this thread should be for covering what little news does pop out of GDC, rather than pessimistic whinging about stuff that doesn't really matter.

Did those videos have sound for you btw?? I tried downloading one and just streaming one and I didn't get sound out either one. Just curious.
On topic: I really hope there is something at GDC. Doesn't have to be a blowout, but just something to hold us over for a little bit. The Nascar video today is a good start, and hopefully the GoWIII GT trailer will be awesome. Would I be surprised if nothing is shown? No. But they gotta start showing some stuff somewhere....and hopefully before E3.
**Edit: Well I just played the 4th vid and that one had sound...so maybe that's the one that gamersyde meant that had sound, wilst the other 3 don't. So, nevermind.

I think the last one with both Nurburgring and Tokyo tracks had sound (although all I could hear was a japanese woman
)Actually come to think of it , the NASCAR video sounded as if they put a voice over on the video it self ,the most controversial feature for gt5 is the sound I guess .

Yeah I couldn't really tell if any of those in-game flyby's were in game sound or not, with PD notoriously dubbing sounds in their trailers...but I hope I'm wrong this time around. If that really is the sound then

It appears only you and me are the ones actually doing this.
People are so damn desperate, they've gotten to a point of trying to force Jordan into getting a interview with Kaz in one thread. Funny how they are doing this yet don't appear willing to go do it themselves.
