I think both cars are nice and I have both but I never drift with them.
However, I think that the high torque allows a player to power out of mistakes that they would normally not be able to avoid. I call these cars the "ez mode" cars!! The "ez mode" cars in my mind that are the most used are the ZR1, Z06, S2k GT... There's a few others but I rarely see them and so they aren't worth mentioning.
I know people are going to blast me for this one but it is what it is... Don't get me wrong, there are people on GTP and GT5 that use these cars very effectively and with great skill.
I never, ever. Stick to one car.
I love my M3 too much... Everyone knows me by my white M3 Coupe...
Though rumor has it that I have been spotted in a s15/s13, SLS, M3 GTR, Aristo, IS-F, and few other cars... But I will deny those rumors...
Haha all these people have are fuzzy photos of a dark shadow? We can start calling you "bigfoot" or "sasquash". Gam you going to be able to make the mini battle tonight?
The ZR1 is a virus that has infected gt5 driters, now every infected user needs thier fix of its dirty power crazed existance
The virus hasnt set in soon you will forget everything that isnt a ZR1
Yea there are some fuzzy photos out there... My team see's me more in other cars than the open lobbies do... LOL @ bigfoot/sasquatch...
Not sure man... I definitely would like to as I think it would be good fun! But I work into the night so I usually don't get on until around 10p PST which is about the time your headed out...
One day I will get in your mini battle - one day!! 👍
This very old school video helped me understand how a diff worked
Basically, when there is a lot of torque going to the diff, the gears in the diff will become closer together under the stain and then lock the wheels.
I think.
Haha, not quite
Haha, not quite
On comfort softs there is like a limit I have noticed to where you can put power to the ground and be able to have traction. Then there is the power where you just spin and it doesn't make you any faster if it makes sense
StavingoWell I actually prefer to have spinning wheels then actually having grip.
You know what I mean. Please don't be smart. Like it or not in drifting you must have some sort of traction. This traction will keep you from spinning out and not being able to get a decent speed for initiation ect. Speed is a must irl to stay ahead and or pull away from the follower. And speed is a must to be able to keep up while following. Having said that. You also need to have great angle along with smoke for an overall impression. If you do great in these you will win the judges vote.
I'm not being smart, I'm just saying that I prefer to have more wheelspin and whatnot. I know that the tyres still have grip but I like to keep it at a minimum level, if I ever want to regain more grip I ease off the throttle or switch tyres.
Im not sure what my preference is, but all my cars have trouble accellerating; so I guess i'm on the non grippy side of things..
Doesnt even restrict itself to high powered cars though; my 390 HP S13; nothin but wheelspin..
okay. But I believe using CH tires with 700 hp will spin the tires pretty good no matter what.
This Hasn't too much to do with drifting, but I hear people moaning because the G25 sequential shifter doesn't work with the G27, which ''makes drifting easier'', Well you can. Look at this thread.
G25 to G27 and Vice Versa Shifter
