hey im about to get my first car imported here to america from japan what car should i get a Rx7 (FC) or a s13?

Depends what you're using it for, how often. The rx7 will drink fuel like theres no tomorrow whereas the SR20 S13 is always the safe option. If your open to suggestions, look into an r32, PS13 or even a chaser.

mhmm i how much are chasers going for?

Don't most chasers come with the 4 speed automatic tranny ? , meaning they would need a supra gearbox (If you wanted to drift it) which would cost a small fortune ;)

I would love to have a chaser or aristo as a family car, that is making about 500hp and no one would expect it to be quick and then bam I'm miles in front of them :P

Apparently there quite driftable with an auto.
today's topic: Welded diff or 2-way diff?

2 way IRL, welded in GT5. But chances are its going to be welded IRL because I'm not paying 500 smackers for something that WILL blow up.

I agreed with DriifterzZ im not spending more money to buy something that'll end up busted in a month or so in my opinion just weld the diff its much more cheaper but will still brake

Here, we can't touch a turbo until we're at least 21 and will paying around £2000 for insurance.
1 nill

Wow, our insurance is way cheaper.

But apparently the earliest I can get my full licence is 20.

Well if they don't implement the rule before you get your L's then technically you can drive turbos till your blacks IIRC.

but to be honest, younger than 25 with A turbo, you'd be happy for £2000! I was quoted £8500 lowest for the S5!! U.K's insurance has been ruined by 17 year olds smashing a 1.2 corsa thats too fast for them..

I know £2000 is actually quite cheap, it only gets cheaper as you get older due to the NCB, otherwise you'll be paying around £7000 for insurance without your NCB. I'm 17 now and reality is, I probably won't be able to even insure a car until i'm 20 odd because filthy chavs think it's okay to drive/crash their saxo's. All payed for by their doll money.
