Have you contacted them on the tech talk forums? At least it isn't like Modchip man who became shady out of the blue.
Justin does it again!
The PDP National Mortal Kombat Tournament is over, and the results are in. PerfectLegend, the favorite to win, ended up taking 5th place, while training partners Floe and Justin Wong fought their way to a meeting in the grand finals.

Please note that this tournament used the original, unpatched version of Mortal Kombat 9. On top of that, players were provided with and forced to use the PDP Tournament Fight Stick. Do you think these factors effected the results? With huge upcoming tournaments like UFGT7 and CEO 2011, cumlinating with the Evolution 2011 world finals, will Justin Wong remain the king of kombat or will a challenger appear to take him down?

Top 8 finishers and prize money courtesy of Test Your Might;

1. Justin - $10,000
2. Floe - $4,500
3. LI Joe - $2,500
4. Fubarduck - $1,500
5. Pefect Legend - $750
6. Trophy Club - $750
7. Michelangelo - $500
8. Ike S. - $500

Well with AE coming out, we are at equal ground again. Though it was surprising to see Justin not in the Top 8.

I haven't contacted them because the issue isn't of their concern. It's already been shipped according to them. I picked SAL shipping which is slow as hell (read 2-3 weeks on average), maybe mine got held back during delivery at some point. Or it got lost who knows... whatever, I'm looking forward to the Sanwa's even though my taiko controller would look 10 times more pretty if it was the seimitsus.

I haven't tried focusattacks though Lizardlick usually delivers really fast and Etokki takes about 2 weeks.

I'd be ordering off canadianjoysticks, either if they had more variety of merchandise, OR if they had a cheaper shipping option.. no way in hell domestic shipping costs $10 for 4 plastic buttons if USPS does the same for half the price.

edit: speak of the devil they just arrived

Usually not much of a fighting game fan, but I'm seriously enjoying the online play of SSF4 3D on the 3DS. Pretty neat!

isn't it difficult to play with the dpad placed in such an awkward location?

I'm still getting used to the ergonomics, so ask me again in a week :) It seems ok though, and the D-pad works better for me than the analog nub.

I had'nt played a SF game in at least 12 years so I'm having a blast exploring the characters and their abilities.

Famitsu has its first look at Soul Calibur V following its announcement last week. Here's what's said in the magazine, as passed along at Sokuho.

As previously detailed, the game is set 17 years after SCIV. The main character, the guy shown in the reveal trailer, is Patroklos, son of Sophitia. He makes use of the same short sword type as his mom, and also uses the Arcadia Shield. If you really want specifics, Patroklos is 177 centimeters tall, has blood type B, was born on September 13, and is 19-years-old.

The magazine also profiles returning character Siegfried, who's become 40 years old. He makes use of the Requiem weapon he used in SCI and SCIII.

In an interview with the magazine, producer Hisaharu Tago gives a few hints about the game, without getting too specific:

The game has new characters, old characters with new weapons, and guest characters.
Tago is hoping to have at least as many characters as SCIV.
Tago said to expect special weapons, although he wouldn't share specifics.
Regarding gameplay systems, Tago said one can say there are and there aren't changes. We'll have to wait for an update for details.
The development staff has been given new blood, but the main members remain unchanged. Tago expects to end up releasing something a bit different from past entries.
Tago promised to not let fans down.
Famitsu reports that Soul Calibur V is currently 10% complete. A release is set for 2012.

Fact:
Melty Blood is awesome!

I find it amazing how I pair up the same characters as other people are without having seen videos of it beforehand.

I did the same with Mag/Zero/Sent but I couldn't do what Marn does.

No S rank for you. I bet you can see that!

While they pretty much are, by not showing the name or face I still consider it a teaser, says AOS- while AOS- proceeds to go play Street Fighter.

Ok, I finally bought an arcade fighting stick, since it was my first purchase and I'm not that good, I went with a non TE stick. I bought the HORI wireless fighting stick 3 for PS3 and I gotta say that it is pretty awesome to me. If hardwired TE's are that much better, I can't wait until I'm advanced enough to purchase one. I actually like the feeling of being more in control and able to "pace" myself when hitting buttons, I always felt like I was just mashing with a DS3.

Does anyone know if MvC3 is going to be getting anymore DLC characters? I feel like I got robbed a little with the smaller roster. I do have MvC2 on my PS3, but I would prefer to have new characters in the newer game vice having to go "backwards" all the time to play characters that I like.

Hori Wireless fightstick 3.....wasn't that the one with no Sanwa parts?
Just to let you know, if you are able to make your own case, you'd save much more money if you made a stick instead of buying a TE.

Judging from the 2 empty character slots in the character select screen, there's abound to be another 2 more DLC characters in the future for MVC3.

The hori one was alright if you bought it with T6. Probably the best for your buck was actually a TE. To me, the hori stick is somewhat really light weight and not really mod friendly ( The PCB is soldered to the hori buttons or its directly straight connected to the buttons. If you probably looked around, you could of found a used first round TE for around 80 dollars.

MEGA MAN vs STRIDER! 2011! GET HYPED!
If you wanted Seimitsu buttons
I just recently read that the hori sticks constantly drop inputs or has a gumy stick. I almost got one before Vanilla came out but the SE at 80 dollars new was enough for me and it is still good to me.

Whatever you find about the Wireless Tekken 6, is what the FS-3 and FS-EX are.
So that's the information.

It does not kind of look like the Wireless Tekken 6.
It IS the Wireless Tekken 6, without the art.

You are correct, there are no Sanwa parts in it, but then again I am not worthy of using said parts at this stage of my game. The HORI is the only officially licensed fight stick for PS3, and thus far (in 5 days of moderate use) I have not experienced any input lag or disconnects or any other faults. When or if I do experience any type of failure I will let you all know as I intend to use it extensively. Also, at $57 through Amazon it was hard to overlook, since HORI seems to have a pretty good rep in the community and like I said it is officially licensed by Sony.

By the way, the only TE I have my eye on right now is the MvC2 (yes 2 not 3) stick, the artwork is outstanding. I will get it when I can use it properly and actually be competitive with it.

All the sticks I've built were with old PSX PCBs.. I have Adaptors so they can be played on the PS3, PC, Wii, and obviously PS1 & PS2 ;) Who needs a Dual-mod when I can recycle an old controller?

Well, my SE needs to play on PS3. I have the Xconverter for PS2 to 360 ( my hori sticks). I am going to spend 20 dollars to find a common ground Xbox PCB or get the PS3/360 PCB for my custom stick. When I was trying to find the dimensions to make art for it, I accidentally pulled the wires out and my brother needs his stick to be up to date.

How many of you guys play BlazBlue: Continuum Shift?
Right now that is really the only fighting game I play, besides MvC3...

lol, for some odd reason I have serious trouble playing fighters with the 360 controller <_<
So I just play all of my fighters on PS3...

The D-Pad on the xbox is awful for fighting games... Press left or right, and shift the pad up slightly, and that will count as a diagonal... I tried Street Fighter at Best buy on it. CPU does a random uppercut... I go to walk up and I jump instead.

What about investing into that Paewang I keep hearing about..
I do want to get one though that is around the same price as PS360 board.

CSII came out for free on XBL without Trinity..I could use the controller to play Super, Blazblue, and Tekken..sadly it feels all the same to me.

Phreakmods posted a preview of their upcoming product, “The Link”, and it looks intensely useful.
“The Link is a new JLF shaft design that is purposed to allow easy storage for all kinds of players. The casual players looking to save a little space, and for traveling tournament players who need every inch when cramming into a full car.
The new design is a two piece steel construction. It’s currently in the prototype stage but what you see here is a good view of the final product. When in place, the Link is identical in height, allowing for you to drop it right into your current arcade stick that has a Sanwa JLF and feel no difference. The diameter of the center collar is perfect size so that you can keep your current dust washer, however the shaft cover will have to go!”
Basically, this lets you take the stick and top off of at any time without opening the cabinet, making the entire stick lay much flatter for storage when traveling. You can check out Phreakmods’ booth at UFGT7 this weekend in Chicago, IL, and check the thread for more information.
Base price 35 dollars for it.
