Well there are so many titles that have been coming out since Street Fighter IV:
Super Street Fighter IV
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade edition
Street Fighter vs Tekken
Tekken vs Street Fighter
Street Fighter Third Strike Online edition
Street fighter Hero clix
Street Fighter backpacks
Ryu has not changed in anyway!
but in any case

AE feels weird...

Sounds like the SF franchise went down to the mainstream farm and is now getting milked to its very last ounce.

I don't get why Capcom would decide to pump out THAT many SF titles in such a small timeframe.

Fighter Genre is back! Also the guy from infamous is a PS3 exclusive for SFxT

Whoever they are...

OMG AE!!!!... not so hype.

Ryu's U2 is still badass beyond words... too bad you don't get full animation upon juggle.

I messed around in AE for a bit and somewhat happy with it. Though rog's headbutt has a longer recovery and his standing LP whiffs on a crouching opponent now.

Interview Highlights
• Mentioning that this is a big hint, Yoshinori said that he's working on bringing back characters that didn't make the cut for Street Fighter 4 into Street Fighter X Tekken. You'll see some characters that you haven't seen in awhile.

• Ono added that if SFxT matches up with Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition's roster, which is 39 characters, that means about 15-20 fighters on each side, so SSF4's roster will have to be trimmed down a bit to keep the sides even. Yoshinori mentioned that if the roster gets beyond 40 fighters, it gets a bit difficult to memorize moves and stuff.

• Capcom is going to try and tone down the teasers in the future, because as many people have stated, they aren't really teasers trailers because they show who the fighters are.

• Capcom doesn't want to cut any features they had in SF4, they want to add on to it, not take away with SFxT. This was in response to if the game has a rivals mode, but it implies an overall approach as well.

• There's a "Cross Rush" system in place which is basically a Chain Combo setup going from Light 2x/Medium/Hard to do combos.

• The game won't have a really deep story mode like there is in Mortal Kombat 9, which Ono said they knocked out of the park, but you will see a story mode like you've seen in previous Capcom fighters. Yoshinori did say they're looking at doing something like the MK9 guys did in the future though, *wink* *wink*.

• "Big surprising announcements," for SFxT at Comic-Con commented Ono.

• They're trying to blend the art styles of SF4 and Tekken characters, using more saturated colors and thicker lines to try and find a balance.

• They want to see how the YouTube upload feature works for SF3 3s OE before they commit to putting it into Street Fighter X Tekken. They didn't say one way or the other whether this would be included or not.

• Capcom staff grabbed copies of Tekken 6 and has been studying them on how to add the Namco characters into SFxT. The Namco guys that have seen their characters in game have been happy with how they're being implemented.

• The "watery" graphic effect seen in the SFxT trailers will show up when doing things like Launchers and the Cross Rush, similar to the ink effect when doing a Focus Attack in SF4.

• Expect more news about the Vita version of SFxT at Comic-Con, especially for Cole from inFAMOUS.
I wish more people play like us..

Capcom is going to try and tone down the teasers in the future, because as many people have stated, they aren't really teasers trailers because they show who the fighters are.

That's what AOS said, but nk4e was like Noooooooo!

I kept hearing VITA today and was all like "the heck are they talking about?" Then I watched Ono at E3 pull out a PSP and on it said PS VITA and I was like "Ohhhhh!"

If they're going take out SSF4 characters, I'm thinking the following characters won't be included:
-Adon
-Cody
-Guy
-Ibuki
-Makoto
-Seth
-Dhalsim
-Dan
-El Fuerte
-Sagat

Dhalsim would be awesome to play again some Tekken characters.
Soul Calibur 5 was present at E3, being shown behind closed doors. Destructoid was among those who got to check out the game and reports that the game is currently 15% complete, runs on a new engine, and features faster gameplay than its predecessor. They were also told that the game would feature between 20 and 30 fighters and, very interestingly, that over half of them would be entirely new characters!

What do you think? If this turns out to be true, not all of your favorite characters from the series will be making a return, at least not initially. Is a roster for this game composed of almost 50% new characters a brave move, a mistake, or something in between?
I wonder if Cassandra will be Sophia's age in this one or my character is still alive and kicking.

Do you guys prefer "3d" fighters like Tekken, Virtua Fighter, or 2d like Street Fighter, Fatal Fury, etc?
Growing up with 3d just makes me naturally good at 3d. And, I finally got the hang of Vanessa in Virtua 4 Evo.

Wave dashing is so fluid in Tekken and in Soul Calibur II

I can't choose between the two...
1. HK, LP Lunge, f.MK x3, standing MP, f.MK, HP Palm, LP Lunge, MP, f.MK x2, f.HP, LP Lunge, cr.MK xx Jump Cancel Dive Kick Reset

Is it weird that I chuckled at that last vid?

According to ArtGerm, he's working with Capcom on the 3S OE box art.

We're cowards at a video game... how sad is that?

And wow, "Fight for the Future"? That's one of the most hypocritical and lamest lines Capcom ever said...

I just do unsafe stuff like Jump up at them when they react faster than I can land. I need the parry system.

Time to switch mains  a friend's trying to pick up Yang, and while he spams parry once in a while, he does it to a point where I've already began to pick up when I can nail him in between consecutive parries. Gotta love cr. mk <3

In 3s, I mainly used Ryu/Makoto/Chun-li
My main characters throughout fighting Genre:
Street fighter:
Chun,Rog, Yun, and Ryu
Tekken:
King and Law
Soul Calibur:
Nightmare/Astaroth
Blazblue:
Noel
Guilty Gear:
Dizzy and Sol
Metly Blood : AA
Sion
Dead or Alive:
Kasumi or Lei-Fang

If I played 3S I'd probably just go with Sakura... even though Ken's a way better option..

I still don't understand how one plays 3S compared to IV... I always remember seeing a ton of intense footsie action and lots and lots of highly-skilled baiting with Super cancel punishes. Oh and lots and lots of dashing.
