in the u.k they do G4 racing for under 18's, they can go as fast as they want, its crash city, this is a generation bought up on games like GT4 too so they really do drive like on the game!

I have the Ginetta G4, My thoughts on it are
1. It is way too light so the slightest bump will send it flying
2. It is like a drivable Caterham(by that I mean that you could use it in races)
3. It brakes like a muscle car. Either brake early or you cannot make the turn.
All in all, I wouldn't really use it for races. Just casual driving in free run mode.

I just tried it stock in Arcade Test Track Race. I was versing a Mazda 110S (I think it's called the Cosmo Sport) along with an Alfa GTA '65, a Fiat Barchetta '00, an Alpine A310 and a Toyota Starlet Glanza V. The Starlet had good acceleration. The Mazda was neck and neck with me on the straights going at 231kp/h!! Stock, this car is :yuck:

It's probably the best car in the game where u can have fun and it's cheap, and a classic. love the way it oversteers around the corners.

It's a great car, fun to drive, and it's easy to win too. You'd be amazed what a car with under 100hp can do.

Funny this thread got bumped, I'm driving a Ginetta tonite. Did the normal race at Citta d'Aria with about 190 horses. Man, that car is fast but tough to control.

hey guys, i been watchin this thread for a while..bIg fan of gt4 and whats more i own a real 1963 G4 with 1500cc engine. its currently being rebuilt for racing. it will have 150 hp, weight is 500kg..

in amatuer racing the G4 worldwide is still kicking ass.. Many historic events are won by these cars outright. In the UK the HSCC 60s championship is being led by a 1500cc G4, beating morgans, lotus elans, etc.. The G4 is well known for being able to out-handle and outbreak anything in its class. One also recently won the coronado speed fest in the USA, beating corvette, gt350 mustang and COBRAS!!

So just thought id post this from a G4 owner and ginetta nut... I also own a alpine a310 , which is also great to see in Gt4

hope gt5 wil have these great cars...!

please see my rebuild:

That G4 looks amazing, I'm sure dozens of gtp users will be drooling over the idea of owning that car. Excellent choice of colour, I'd love to see more photos as it's rebuilt.

Instead of angering the mod gods, I searched for a thread on this car.

Love it. 240hp, less than 1,000lbs. Massive fun to drift. My favorite car to mess around with by far

I recommend everyone try this car out. Seriously. I never had so much fun in this game than with this car.
And it doesn't even look bad for a standard car!

You realize your in the gt4 section with a gt5 car. Although, Nice pics broseph.

Oh, didn't realize lol well the same applies anyway. Still one of the most fun cars to whip around Autumn Ring Mini

Ginettas are fun until you need them not to be fun! Then they get to be little annoying beasts! :ill:

I have loved this little gem at times because of its handling. Other times I have wished to stick the throttle and let it run itself off a cliff........also because of its handling.

I love the little bugger. Its lite and quick and I can throw it through corners at a whim even in race trim.
