Rules and Terms for Application:
Before sending your suggestions, please read thoroughly and understand the following terms and conditions.
- Even if the suggested track title name from an applicant is selected,
no licence fees or rewards will be payable or given to the applicant.
- The applicant warrents that it is not violating copyright or trade marksof third parties, and is not infringing upon any other rights, or defaming a third party, and will be responsible for all content submitted, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc shall not be liable to the applicant for any loss or damages arising from the use of the content submitted by the applicant.
- All copyrights and other rights subsisting in submitted content belongs to Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. regardless of whether the content of the application is utilised or not.
- Names or nicknames submitted with the application will not be used for any other purpose than during the judging phase of this campaign, at the announcement of results, and display in the credits if and when the submission is selected. Please note that the information at the time of application will be used as is in the Special Thanks section of the credits in "Gran Turismo 5"
- If there are multiple applicants who suggested identical names for the track, names or nicknames of all of those applicants will appear in the credits.
Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (the “Sponsor”
is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete or misdirected entries. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit an applicant’s ability to participate in the contest. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify, cancel or suspend this competition should virus, bugs or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of this competition.
Sponsor reserves the right to reject any entries that it deems, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate including, but not limited to, gratuitous depictions of violence or sexual behaviour, or positive depictions of alcohol or tobacco.
The Submission must be the original, unpublished and sole work of the entrant. The Submission cannot defame or invade the rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any third party personal or proprietary rights.
By acceptance of prize, prize winner agrees to release Sponsor and its respective parents, subsidiaries, agencies, divisions, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to or from any prize-related activity and/or competition activity. Employees of Sponsor and their respective parents, subsidiaries, agencies, and affiliates and each of their related companies and their immediate families are not eligible.
