GLI is garbage... trading it in about 3 weeks...

Even if the safety and emissions standards were the same, it wouldn't be legal. The US has no 'grey-market' for importations like many other countries do. It's purely black and white. You can thank Mercedes Benz for that.

Someone want to explain why the R34 Skyline is illegal? I believe it's because of emissions and safety standards, right?
Because the U.S. government has taken it upon themselves to protect you from those dangerous, terrible cars that obviously would explode like a Pinto if a shopping cart hit them. They care so much about your safety that if you buy one, they will come to your house and steal it before selling it.

There's a couple turbocharged first gen (USA) Fit's around in my area.

Probably. Just like my friends R32 GT-R. Shhhhhhh.

Edit: He might want to blur out that license plate in photos....

R34? That is quite clearly a 1992 240SX, as the registration and glued-on VIN plates (is that Elmer's?) probably show.

My bad, just an amazing body kit, had me fooled!

:dunce:

I'm gonna pre-game this thread a little bit.

Pretty sure it was sarcasm since people register them as 240s so they don't get noticed and taken away. Unless you two are being sarcastic too
