Good Examples of Miniature Filter Photos?

A couple of mine...

I really like this filter. The first two def have it. The last photo I can't remember even though I did it last night. I underexposed it a bunch because I exported it to use as my XMB wallpaper, and it's easier to see the XMB text over a darker image, but with it that dark it's hard to tell if the filter is still on it with depth of field and shutter tweaked to make it more subtle

The concept behind Tilt-Shift photography is intended to make the subjects of the photo look like they are miniatures or models or toys.

To understand how to use it, first you need to understand what would happen if you photographed real miniatures. When you photograph something small, you use a very short focal range, which leaves the fore and backgrounds blurry.

To create the effect, the lens creates an out of focus blur on the top and bottom of the image, while leaving the center third in focus. So, when you take a picture it looks as thought the foreground and background are outside of the focal range. Everything inside the focal range then looks as though it is small and toy-like.

Some of you guys get the camera so high up, had a try today but could only get it maybe 15 foot high, is it only possible on some tracks?

With the walkaround camera, that's about the highest you can get. The high angle shots are usually the predetermined camera positions you get by pressing select after placing the car.

Here's a few of my miniature filtered shots that I think turned out fairly well, mostly from the recent K-car seasonal as it seemed a fitting filter :D..
