Goodwood Hillclimb-Redbull X2010

I love Goodwood, drove up it couple years ago in an Abarth 500C. Now to have it in GT6, is brilliant. I managed to get gold 1st or 2nd try. But, but this X2010 :censored:run up the hill, just cannt do it. Well, did, but 1.5 seconds off gold. But every time i try now, im running onto grass and it just snapping on me. To me it seems like trying to fly the SR-71 through the valleys of North Wales at mach 3.2

Im using DS3, with sensitivity at 6. Is that to high/low? Is it possible to get gold using controller?

I've golded it, set sensitivity to minimum, then drove with above cockpit view a few times then changed to nose cam it just takes a bit of patience

Yeah i did it with ds3. Sensitivity set at 2. Just practice

I found the easiest way was just to keep setting clean runs and just try and beat the ghost by a few tenths of a second every time, it's not easy but you'll get there!

I've done it in about 6-7 tries with the DS3. TCS on 1, ABS on 1, sensitivity on 7 and I've used the cam where you see the hood as I realised I can react quicker with it.

I got gold with a ds3. Tcs and other aids set to zero, abs at 1, steering sensitivity at 4. Use manual transmission, take off in 3rd and short shift into 4th, gives u a bit of a decent leap before the first bend

Another way to do is learning corner by corner and practice your way up. I tried a 100 times, but on my first Start to Finish attempt got gold with a DS3. TCS is a bit irrelevent because it is only applied in the start.

Getting there, had to turn off. Have break from it and give it another crack later.

You can enter the first 2 corners with out braking. You can coast the ought them
I did on g25 but took me a few 20 tries

@rgkma S license is quite easy, the Veyron is annoying but you just need to brake early for everything and stay cautious.

Does anyone else think this last Goodward challenge was a little silly? I mean GT is more a simulator than a game, based on realism. Would an F1 car tackle that course?!

I've done all of the goodwood runs with the DS3. It takes lots of practice, patience and a little bit of luck.
I'm now 38 hours into the game, have driven over 5700km or something and my status still says that the goodwood hill climb is my favorite track with 530km driven.
Go figure...

Took me the best part of 30 minutes to get a few good runs.
My gold time was nothing impressive at 0:30.807, but gold nevertheless...
Just practice, patience and a tad of luck.

Awesome. I love the way he's squirreling around. Insane! Still think the X car is a bit silly for this though.

I really enjoyed these Hill Climb Races...Until Now. That F....in' Red Bull was a real pain to drive. It took me an hour to pass it, and I got to the finishing line only once. It's a shame that they decided to include this "car" in the game. I hated it in GT5 already.

I feel your frustration. I like the thing, i just thought it's inclusion in the hill climb was/is a bit much. Keep it on the race tracks.

That was an amazing moment. But, think will never see that time beaten.

Love the "hill" in the game, but why use the X2010, i hated that thing in GT5 (doesnt help that im not a fan of, Red Bull as keep beating us in F1). Great bit of design and engineering (if was made real), but still.
