i used sensitivity @ 7 with ds3 used nose cam first time i managed to cross the finish line was a gold at 29 some thing seconds thank goodness i wasnt lookin forward to trying again hardest corner is the hard left by the hay bails id say 3rd ish corner gotta brake a bit hard with gas on to maintain stability

Not sure if you do this already, but pick your vision up. What I mean by this is instead of focusing on right in front of the car, look more 30m down the track, and let your perifial vision handle the rest

Ha, I almost committed myself doing this. I could not beat anything in gt5 in the redbulls so thought the same for gt6. My settings were sensitivity to 0 trc at 5 and just tried over and over again. I found it easier to win if you try to not drive the car to its limit. Suprisingly once I slowed down, shifted earlier and stopped over steering the car it got pretty easy. Its just so fast you almost have to have a muscle memory type mentality, and you dont have to drive the the to its insane limits to win it. Good luck.

Nice one super license is even harder to gold! But just as rewarding!
Really? I cruised through the S licenses and it didn't take me terribly long to do the redbull Goodwood. My issue is the stupid drifting. I hate it and personally think its kind of dumb(I dont get how you can be consistant in judging the points) but I'm stuck on the S series drift(the last one) It took me forever to do the first two but I cant get bronze in the last one. I'm 100% complete for 2 weeks now but cannot do the drift.

Had a crack at the coffee break drifting in the Silvia, always hated drifting, and after today.. still hate it.

(Could be that im **** at it)

Drift is relaxing, because you can kill some tires (Ron Swanson moustache growing) and I like it, but I'm a really crappy driver so I can't enjoy it at it's most because I'll spin the car out 75% of the times, but I got gold on that coffe break.

I guessing sometime in 2014 I'll get the gold too. I just don't see the point of it.

I'm playing with a DS3 which is a bit easier. Try to use tad of hand brake to start a slide. As soon as you get into a slide gear up no matter the speed or rpm because you have more control over the car, you rise the speed-gets you more points. If you "feel" the car to go out of control brake until you stop it. Once stopped, get to speed and repeat the process I mentioned before. On the last sector try not to leave third and use the hand brake to change direction.

1st sector
-Brake hard into the first corner reduce to 2nd. As soon you're turning into the apex, use the hand brake, resume throttle and change to 3rd. (I avereged 1000 points here)

2nd sector
-Same as 1st, but if have some balls you can go into the apex in 3rd, then change up to 4th. I recommend 2nd to 3rd gears. (I managed between 500-1000 points)

3rd sector
-My worst sector, by far. Gear between 1st and 2nd and use hand brake to change direction rapidly, but it's very easy to spin out on this sector, so careful throttle control is the key

Last sector
-As said above. Try not to leave 3rd, use handbrake for rapid changes of directions and you also must be careful with the throttle.

The point of it is for you to learn to keep the car under control on drastic situations.

I was back trying to do it before I saw you post and I finally found something that was working. I got 6669 points as my best. It might not be the proper way to drift but it got me the most points. I slow to 1st gear before the first turn and floor it and while I turn I shift to second and steer it through the turn. I've been getting anywhere from 1000 to 2600 points there. The second turn I bomb every time. I tried dropping to 2nd and taking it in 3rd and i always end up spinning, slowing or hitting the wall. I average 300 to 600 points there. The 3rd turn I again slow to 1st and floor it and can get 1000 to 1200 points in the first turn and sometimes I can steer into the 2nd turn and through the rest of it and sometimes I lose the drift going into the 2nd part of the turn but I've been getting 1600 to 2800 points through there. The last turn I do the same as the 3rd and I've been able to hit 3900 points if I am able to steer through the whole turn, but it seem more likley that I lose the drift, slow, spin or hit the wall after the 1st part of the turn. I average 1400-2500 points there. I get good points but just cant put together a good run where I get my max points in all 4 turns. Turn 2 really screws me everytime. Also the 3rd and 4th turn I get into the 1st part of the turn good with good points and lose the drift and slow too much I guess because it puts me back to 0 points without hitting the wall or spinning out. I think im getting it just cant get top points in all 4 turns in 1 run. I also haven't tried the Ebrake either I know thats part of drifting but I found that slowing and mashing the gas and steering through the turns gets me my max points.

That's one way to do it. I worked a lot on drift car on GT5, but I haven't tried to put one together in GT6. I developed this technique drifting my 350Z and I did Autumm Mini always drifting. This car is nervous and the 2nd and 3rd sectors are propitious to spuns because the height changes and camber in the road. My record is 6000 points.

I love Goodwood, drove up it couple years ago in an Abarth 500C. Now to have it in GT6, is brilliant. I managed to get gold 1st or 2nd try. But, but this X2010 :censored:run up the hill, just cannt do it:banghead:. Well, did, but 1.5 seconds off gold. But every time i try now, im running onto grass and it just snapping on me. To me it seems like trying to fly the SR-71 through the valleys of North Wales at mach 3.2

Im using DS3, with sensitivity at 6. Is that to high/low? Is it possible to get gold using controller?

:gtpflag:
For me I can't drive anything on the controller anymore, I have to use my wheel.

Just cannot do it with my ds3. Gutted. Gold for the first 12 but not impressed with the Red Bull in there...... What's a good wheel, reasonably priced please?

I guessing sometime in 2014 I'll get the gold too. I just don't see the point of it.
