I guess most ships/boats have more above water than they do below.

I understand that, but what about the weight of the water raising the bridge back up? The corrosion it causes on the bridge? I'd figure it's easier and less expensive to build a drawbridge style bridge.

*Off topic warning!*

Just looking for a smoking factory - but came across this. What do you think, shooting stars or just some extreme window reflections?

That's steam coming out of those towers, not smoke. Go to West Virginia. You're bound to find coal smoke all over the place.

If you look directly below the top cooling tower there is a tall slim chimney with smoke ;)

👍 You wouldn't happen to know what sort of place that is would you? Many coal powerplants over here burn coal, obviously, and are next to rivers, using the river water to cool the place. That's why they have those nuclear-looking cooling towers. But I don't even see any mountains of coal in that picture.

Next: - a whale.

Its not in the wild but if you had one I would love to see it.

Find me a Bull fighting arena. Bonus if it had an event going on!

If that's Sea World Orlando you posted, which i suspect it is, then that's the exact same location of the whale that i originally found. I'd like to see a wild one too - but that's a lot of sea to scan!

That was orlando. The problem with finding them elsewhere is the resolution just isn't good enough.

Can anyone find a highres Frozen Lake?

I was looking for a bridge with shops on it when I found the motherload of drawbridges. I hope you don't mind that I share. This wasn't even all of them. Still looking for shops on a bridge BTW.

Find: Twenty WHITE cars parked in a row...

20 white cars, kind of parked in a row(ish)

Or this from Honda in Swindon - i'm sure there must be 20 white cars together here. (big chunks of the UK are still pretty low-res on Google Earth)

I found a dealer with 16 white cars in a row and one dealer with 17 white cars in a row. Not like your first rows either.

I quit right after counting the 17.

I don't know if this qualifies as a fighter plane but it scores on the other criteria. If its ok then find me a Lighthouse.

There are 6 pools in this picture. I hope that you will find one of them interesting.

Two things you could find for me. (1) A drag race in progress. (2) A Cirque du Soleil tent that is set up in a parking lot in the United States.

Just to kick start this thread a little (waiting for daan to post one up...)
