Can someone help me on the Super Car Challenge races? My AIM: socomaznkllr
I need help, most of the cars that I have that are fast are not Production cars, but Prototype or Race cars. I have a Saleen S7 that is on Stage 3 N/A tuning and I'm getting owned by the Cadillac CIEN concept and VW V12 (or whatever the orange VW is). I then got pissed and tuned up the CIEN concept that I have and was told that it's not a Production car even though I saw it in those races! Argh, that pisses me off. Thanks!

p.s the best way to drift an ae86 is with clutch kicks, but there is no clutch so move onto another car until you get better..lol

You should try other things than that HORRIBLE SALEEN S7:yuck::lol: You can try with a much more unusual car, you could take a Porsche, don't know the names of the ones you can put spoilers on, cause I think you'll need them, weight reduction all the way, regidity upgrade, brake upgrades, turbo or something, nitro (if you want:scared:)

It's offcourse VERY possible to win it, but don't forget that and keep trying, I did it with a souped Ford GT.........:nervous: Won't do that again thoug:yuck: But anyway, it worked though, so try that thing too. AND REMEMBER that there isn't any car that makes it very easy to win, it always stays hard to win.

Yea, I've been planning to use another car but I have no Cr. at the moment, I'll try the Ford GT next, thanks! 👍 :)

Need some help... I'm new to drifting and am practising with an MX-5 setting. I like fast/Racing drift but have problems with control. I can get into a drift on lower speed corners with no problem.

My main issue is the exit. Sometimes I either snap the other way round at the end of the exit or I stop my drift too soon on the apex n run into the grass/wall. The other one is on some high speed circuit where there's a slight sudden bend in the straight, e.g. Tokyo and some others, I tend to get into a powerslide/straight drift after the turn. Help me get better pls.

ok, with the snapping, try either increasing the rear camber on the wheels, or ajusting the bound and rebound, i forget which of the two is on top, but make that one ten on both, and on the one on the battom make it like 5 for both. or try using the N tires, i use n2's for cars around 500 hp
 
the bound and rebound should help the other issue, or try feinting it in (start on the oppisate side of the "perferred line, then go across the track before the corner to get the rear4 end loos, the snap it into the corner and smile!!!!)
 
ok. i got a kickass z, and it driftts like the suns burnin the earth. cept it onyl drifts when i dont want it to, or i use the e brake. anyway to get more control? its the OPTION Z with the purple,orange,yellow,silver paint, and wide body kits. anyway to fix it?

Ohhh, I can drift that car good. Buy a fully customizable transmission and lower the gear ratios so that it is always in the powerband. If that car falls below 5-5.5 thousand rpm it looses all its power and drift over. As for suspension, just whatever works for you.

I have it with: SUSPENSION- springs: front-13, rear-11; stabilizers: front-4, rear-5; all other settings default. LSD: Initial-10, Accel-40, Decel-20. BRAKE BIAS: front-15, rear-15. NOS: 50 shot. TRANSMISSION: Keep Autoset between-8, and 13, it depends on the track, I usually leave it on 10.

If the car falls below 5.5k rpm, either nos it, e-brake, or downshift if you can.

Yep, thats CLEARLY a problem with too grippy tyres, snap back, not enough speed to exit the whole corner.....yep, just....well just add someone to MSN:tup: But I would suggest you to get N2 tyres or N1 tyres yeah:tup: Good explaination Jross:D

@OPTION STREAM PROBLEM Well, the blitz, silvia, option stream, and the RX-7 are all difficult cars to drift, they spin too much, I want a car that acts normal on straights for example, and drifts in corners. This thing just does burnouts all over the straight on a track man, just sick cars. Try the settings above^^ maybe that'll help, but the HKS Sivlia for me is still a challenge to drift, and not a fun challenge, I hate those cars:lol: Maybe you can add someone to MSN if these settings dont work, but dont count on "my experience" with them lol:lol:

BTW I'm very sorry but I gotta delete some members off my MSN man, if you still got problems, add me again, but I just cant recognize my people on MSN because there are SO many people from this thread......so sorry guys:guilty:

Oops. 4got to tell u guys. I was on N2...:P But Vixen n FC3Sleepah has pointed out to me my error (coutersteer)...:P I'll be trying it out once my evening is free up. Still owe them my setting...:P Anyone wanna volunteer to tuition me on settings??? I'm still a little confused with things and tinkering around wz it. My NSX-R is shot I think...:P Ditto wz the RX-7 Spirit.
 
Take the suspension back to default...and soften the rear rebound/bound by 3/4, camber in the front to 3, and toe in the rear to -2. Should drift fine..heheh

for the rxl i have camber at 3 in front and 5 in back, and bound and rebound 10 and 5 (whichever one on top is 10) all the way on front downforce, none in rear with 500 hp n2's go into a corner and smile
