Love for the game or the sales woman? đź’ˇ

The game of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But the woman also a tiny bit for selling it already ;)

Do you guys like it though?? Im really into Shift on PS3 at the moment and getting Operation Flashpoint 2 next week on the PS3.. AAAAHHHHHH toooo many games... :P

NFS Shi(f)t?

GT PSP looks feels and drives like you can expect from a GT game.

As Foolkiller would say: Ignore the haters.

Play.com just e-mailed me to say the Collector's Edition has been posted.

Mine has been in packing from Play for ages, I dont think it will be here tomorrow for me :(

I know in the past they have actually said "Packing" when it was posted the day before but im not holding my breath

well Blitz, I actually haven't bought it yet. The shop were I was at only sold the Collectors Edition, which has a few cards plus a Veyron out of the box. For me, it's not worth the 10 Euros extra so I'll pick up the regular copy tomorrow ;)

I see... I will do the same tomorrow... hopefully it doesnt disappoint :)

Shift is not that bad... Buggy yes, but bad... I would beg to differ... The racing experience is there, the crap around it needs to go though... my opinion in short on that game :)

I hope I dont get disappointed tomorrow by GT mobile... I do like the GT series so expectations are high to say the least.. :P

I got my copy at lunchtime today. Now I wait 1 hour and 10 minutes until I finish work at 5PM and then another 45 minute commute and then I play. Good job I thought to charge the battery of my PSP yesterday!

Right, so I left work early (too early actually :sly:) and now I have the game snugly inserted in my PSP. Only to find out that I need to upgrade the PSP firmware (which is apparently included on the disc). Should not be a problem, but the PSP has not been used for weeks, so the battery is completely empty and the system, so far, refuses the install the update because of this, eventhough it is plugged into a power socket. :grumpy:

I must be patient, I must be patient, I must be.....

Oh the agony... :P I know the feeling... I feel for ya. đź‘Ť

Oh well, the firmware is updating now (the battery load had reached 51%, which seems to be enought). :dopey:

It was a little funny how I got the game. I think that the ladies in the store knew very well that they are not allowed to sell it yet, but never blinked their eyes. The game was not on the shelves, but they had one put away for me under the counter (after I called them earlier today).

Maybe I'll send them some flowers tomorrow. :sly:

Is it an unwritten law that everybody who buys the game must really enjoy it? It's Gran Turismo without the career mode - 'nuff said.

You completely missed my point. I was getting the impression he wasn´t actually interested IN THE SERIES ITSELF and thus not trying to properly evalute the game. You either didn´t understand my post or didn´t want to understand it.

Well if you're not going to get it, why are you still here moaning about it like a spoilt brat?

I haven't received my email yet. Hopefully this afternoon. I probably won't get the game until the weekend.

I wish I knew that as well. Why even bother posting only negativity.

I will get a new psp and get the Downloadable version from PSN.

What about the tuning spec in the game? Can you upgrade the performance of your car? Are there spoilers and wheels, like in GT4?

I just got a call from Gamestop, and apparently Gran Turismo 5 (not PSP) is coming out tomorrow - and he we've been thinking Kazunori said March, when he actually said Mar...October 1st.

I know, constructive critisism is fair enough but just coming in and flaming the game for not having the right cars in or whatever is pointless. And its starting to get on my nerves haha.

On a more important note: Just got my dispatch email!

By the way, for those of you in the US: Do you think Game Stop will sell it to me a day early if I have a preorder? I can't wait until tommorow!
No, but if you are that desperate, my local WalMart broke the street date.

I took this last night. I didn't buy it because I have a preorder already in.

WHAT?!!! *Runs to Gamestop and buys a PS3 Slim, then runs to walmart and buys a lawn chair. He then camps outside the Gamestop. GRAN TURISMO 5 BABY!"

5 months later....

*Still waiting for GT5*

But on a more serius note, yes Gamestop is stupid. Online, they have the game listed as "Gran Turismo 5 for PSP". :P

Question for those who have GTPSP and got a code for their car.
Do you get the chance to type the code and get it straight away or do you have to wait until that cars dealership appears?

I believe it is entered on the PSN store, and download as an addon, and then the car will appear in your garage.
