My lovely Flush Skyline Coupe:

Need more wheels for sure.
Dont want anything wider then what fits proper. I think PD gave use that already.
Honestly these cars with such wide rims that have terrible - camber to the car can be lowered not sit on the tire with the wheel well, remind me of an obese women wearing something she shouldn't and then tucking her rolls in here and there. Its not a good look, its not attractive. Its grotesque.
We car guys are not trying pass judgment on others taste, but we are not going to stand by and watch something completely and utterly useless that has adverse effects on cars and possible injury.
I mean serious in the 80's when you see -camber like that on a Japanese car you knew they broke something in the suspension. NOW ITS THE COOL THING TO DO TO MAKE YOUR CAR LOOK BROKEN?
Whats next for our youth? Seriously baffles me.
Please go to stanceworks.com or canibeat.com and be open minded. There are so many car fanatics on there and 80% of them are all grown men in their 30s. Also, when you say "we car guys", who are you talking about? The ones that like to work on cars, go to shows, autocross, etc? I do all that and completely disagree with your whole entire statement. Speak for yourself.
Dunno whether I did this right, I'm not too knowledgable about that whole stance thing, but I noticed that my Amuse 380RS Superleggera seemedd to do it rather well, according to what I've seen in this thread so far.
The car's only unsing 2.2 and 1.2 degrees of negative camber on the front and rear respectively... So it's not like this setup would hurt the performance or anything 👍
All I was saying was that I didn't set the car up with it's looks in mind and that it was pure chance that the 380RS looked like what I guess is commonly named 'stance'.That camber is idea for many tracks if you are using a slick tire. If you get the car to low it will kill the roll center and you wont get the roll up on the tire to make use of that camber. This game works very well in this aspect of physics vs setup. Props to GT again.
Personally, i don't think it's unattractive or grotesque. I would take a slammed BMW over one at a stock height because i think it looks way better.
This second paragraph really bothers me. "WE car guys"? Oh i see, all the guys in the stance scene (many of whom i'm friends with) aren't car guys? These guys are the most enthusiastic, open minded car nuts i've ever seen. They love everything from Miatas to Big Trucks to full blown race cars. if you're so right, then they just like putting wheels that are too wide on cars and calling it a day i guess.
These guys know cars through and through. They aren't simpletons buying wheels and coilovers, they're true enthusiasts and fabricators.

You make it sound like they're a bunch of rebels hell bent on "ruining" cars and hurting people. And the injury part is BS, look at the post above me for more evidence that it's safe.
And don't try to pin this all on the youth. There are guys out there much older than me that have been doing it for a very long time, it's always been around but now it's just gaining more popularity.
/Rant
Basically when the "Stance" crowd admits what they are doing is for looks and looks only is when we can get along.
To be honest guy the bent axle look reminds me of my kids old hot wheels that have been smashed and bent the axles. I mean seriously my kids asked if the Civic posted jumped and broke his car. hahahaha that is reality people.
Everyone has the right to like what they want. Just remember this is a Racing Simulator sight. People here are racers. As well many of us are have experience in set up of real cars. So to be disrespectful to advice on racing site about racing is just wrong.
OK I kinda want to prove a point to myself here. Someone post the setting they are using to get this "stance" look. I mean the extreme Stance shown here. Then I will take that set up and put it on a Civic, make some laps on Tsukuba. Turn around and set it up proper and see what difference is.

someone said stance?
I think anyone involved will tell you first they are doing it strictly for looks. In fact, no one is doing it for performance oriented setups. Along with staggered wheels with a lower offset and width in the rear, like a RWD car.

You forgot about ricers.
BTW bbs rs are famous for two things, classic BMW racing cars and then the european vw scene, this is genuinely the reason I think PD included BBS rs. Smart move imo.
You forgot about ricers.
Stance/European car styles are easily the best when it comes to show cars.

If only the MKI was premium.
That's a beauty.
Makes me want to euro out my RL vw polo.

Seriously. Also a reason I got out of the Honda crowd...
That looks like a broken down, "seen-better-days" hump....Japanese FF-Drifter, Kawashima-sans cambered-out ZZT Celica
