Room open early for practice rrc race ended quicker than expected

Thanks to everyone who came out and raced sorry for the delay but looked to be some close battles going on. @Nick Cannella pointed out 3 races 3 winners couldn't ask for much more than that! Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did and I'm already looking forward to next Saturday. Congrats @bigbeefytaco for the sweep you get to chose the next track tag me in your selection! Thanks @Nick Cannella for all the stat work you've put in I appreciate it and I will update standings tomorrow
 
i just wanted to ask everyone what their opinion is on December month being a pre-season. it has been brought up by a few drivers that think its a good idea and i agree, so before the first race in January everything will be set and in place and the season will be stet up January-March, April-June, July-September, October-December. also while im getting everyone opinions another idea that has been brought up is the addition to setting up a race schedule and having 3 or 4 wildcard races a race season. just to specify what a wildcard race is: any full-time driver (driver who races 75% of the season or more) would be eligible to be considered for the wildcard, they would pick the wildcard track to race it may be last full time driver in points picking the track or anyone above. i still need to figure out a way to select the wildcard but what i see coming from the wildcard selection is it gives equal opportunity for ALL drivers to have a say in the tracks not to mention i dont see any other race leagues doing this kinda adding a twist. if you guys dont mind i would like to hear yalls thoughts on the suggestions above and any other suggestion you guys would like to try thank you for helping and your input i really appreciate it. also points have been updated.

Im good with using December as a "test" season for this league, then starting fresh in the new calendar year, with one season lasting one quarter of the year. (4, 3 month seasons).
The wild card concept is interesting and would like to hear more about it as well.
 
Not to be negative but there are so few tracks in sport that regardless of who picks them the same tracks will be used. I do agree with December being preseason though since things are being worked out at the moment. Last thing to add is that, for me, if the races start later than 10:30 central I will not be able to participate. It’s late enough already and with 2 little ones at home I have to be up early every morning.

I think last night was a "one off" but do agree that we should start on time. Maybe put something into the "rules" that the wait period is no longer than 5, 10, 15 minutes? IDK, but it was midnight my time by the time we got started.

thank you man that is something i am also thinking as well and a very good point on the limited tracks we may scale back to 1 wildcard race a month just to give some of the guys at the bottom shot at it once in a while. and lastly my apologies for last night it was a one off that happened from here on out myself included 10:30 start time will be STRICTLY enforced i cant apologize enough for that and to everyone it effected its not fair to you guys who were there on time and from here on out 10:30 the race starts.

I like the idea of the wildcard honestly with most tracks having multiple layouts I don't think it will be an issue not running the same track in a season I know @Whitey093 can race antrying anywhere and I would like to think I could do but agreed on start time I was definitely a grumpy ass this morning lol

Ok everyone theres 2 races left this month and a few changes to make before the start of January if theres no one opposed to the idea of December being a pre-season everyone who is signed up will have the ability to change their car before the January-march season starts I will announce when it is time for selecting a new car on dec. 30th. Theres probably going to be a few more changes but I have to get those figured out and will be working on it this week to make sure we are good to go starting January 5th for the first race of the new season

I remember getting yelled at about making that choice for him...I hate you mopp u had to pick the log truck...

Lol I will be probably changing cars the jag is nice but i know what to expect from it. Wouldn't mind changing it up and running something different
