ARL DRIVERS BRIEFING

Race: S2R2
Date: 4/20/19
Track: RedBull Ring 7:00 Clear

  1. Turn 1 is going to be a little crazy for the first few laps until everyone spreads out a little. Please use extra caution going into turn 1 and avoid hitting other drivers, brake early if needed.

  2. Turn 2 is the exact same as turn 1 please brake early, watch the drivers infront of you and avoid contact.

  3. Watch out for penalties! Racing mock races and practice we have noticed that the penalty system is a little odd for this track, if you are serving a penalty please move off the racing line.

  4. The exit on pit lane is more forgiving at redbull than other tracks just remember when getting back on the track please use caution

  5. There are a number of different strategies being ran tonight remember just because you are faster doesnt mean the other drivers need to move off the racing line especially if they are not being lapped, it is the driver behind duty to make a clean pass of the position.

  6. This is one of the largest grids ARL has ever had thank you all for confirming and putting in the effort to support this series, we hope everyone is having fun and getting to be raced clean. Good luck tonight and have fun!

Ps. stay away from @Ryan Kirk he may be a little inebriated behind the wheel since he will be celebrating the holiday tonight!

Well this is awkward. I assumed since we added 4 available drivers that we could run them all. After looking at the team rules it almost reads as only two to a team. So.... maybe we boot one of my racers from the team?
There’s no need to boot one from the team. The BOD agreed to a special circumstance. You just need to let us know which 2 are gonna represent the team tonight. We want all 3 drivers to race

Any idea how far off into the run-off one can go in turn 1 and the penultimate corner before getting a penalty? I heard the system can be a bit hit or miss at times.

One wheel on track

One wheel on track is required if I'm to understand correctly. BOD will be watching
