Hey fellas!

Thank you for a great season. I quite liked it and look forward to the next! You all are the most competitive drivers I've ever ran against in my entire sim racing career. A collection of stout drivers in a single lobby is hard to come by in the dailies. It's usually maybe 3-5 drivers per daily for me, but this whole damn field we have is incredible. Its nice to have this nature going on every race as opposed to a daily race here and there. The races have been consistently clean and fair. I'm also amazed at how well you all remain poised no matter how hectic the racing gets. Even if there's an inevitable accident, its never been catastrophic like in the dailies. You all definitely show more professionalism than most.

Still haven't decided on a ride yet, but I would like to go full-time once more. Also looking at putting a team together with my boy @Kylan or Roberts247 (PSN tag) once we test a few rides. I'll keep you updated!

My first full season in GT3 in the books. It was a lot of fun. I appreciate everyone's continued patience with me, which at times is probably pretty thin, and your continued acceptance. Truly enjoy the times I've been able to fight for positions and be a factor in the Top 10 in my lobby. I hope you all enjoyed the pics from Season 2.

I'd like to thank the governing body of the ARL for putting together a fantastic league. My sponsors, Black Rifle Coffee Company and Grunt Style for not bailing on me. My teammate @Nascarcory for putting up with me this season. Ford Racing for their continued efforts to provide a competitive car, though I believe they thought we were scored like golf. And Roush Racing for providing the awesomely reliable engines. It's been a pleasure.

Thank you.

Outside of any unforseen events or contract offers, I will probably be staying in the Mustang camp.

Got a lot I can say, but I'll keep it short.

Awesome league. Amazing people. Proper, clean, fun racing. Well done to the BoD, keep it up. Glad I found this league and hope to be a participant for many seasons to come.

Special congrats to @SAMHAIN85, @Herimopp89 and @Neutty for the podium this season. Well deserved.

Next season's car has been decided, just waiting on the nod from the BoD. I'm also open to joining a team, new or established, if anyone would have me.

This was my first season not only with ARL but with any serious racing league. And i have nothing but great things to say about this league. Everyone has been a great help and even better drivers. A special shout out to @Alltrac185 @KermitSenpai and @TexasJDC for all the help this season. The BOD have set up a great league with competitive drivers and competitive racing but every race i was in i had a blast. The turd will be with a new team and new car this coming season and i cant wait to get started!

How can I sign up for the next season? Going to be campaigning with @LuisT _99 and @damonc84 under the New Union Race Club banner as Damon already pointed out.

Saw the season sign-up form and figured I'd hold off and ask since I'm not sure if the Corvettes will be available ATM.

At the very least, #57 please :D

And guess who got a T3PA-Pro set to go with his T150? It's me! Can't wait to race with em compared to the stock pedals.

RE: Upcoming changes for season 3

After some intense negotiations and heavy beer drinking, the ARL BOD is happy to announce some changes for our upcoming 3rd season.

We gathered all the feedback the drivers provided during the survey period and discussed each suggestion. Some made the cut, some did not, some were tabled for further discussion. Make no mistake however, each idea that was submitted was not brushed aside easily.

While wanting to make some changes, we felt wholesale change was not necessarily needed. We’ve had a working formula for two seasons, and we think the suggestions below will only enhance what we have in place.

In no specific order, here are the changes you all can look forward to in season 3.

  • Car Rule: There will be no change at this time to the current structure of how many cars can be used during a season. Car selections will be limited to only 4 selections of the same car.
  • Implementation of Divisions: The ARL will split into two (2) divisions for season 3, with each division running its own point championship. We feel this will allow for even greater competition among drivers with similar skill levels, and we will crown two (2) champions at season end. Divisions will be established. Lobbies will still be mixed with all drivers competing against one another. There is more detail to come on this subject.
  • Qualifying: Qualifying will consist of one (1) out lap and two (2) hot laps, provided lap times are under two (2) minutes. If a lap time exceeds two (2) minutes, then we will default to one (1) out lap and one (1) hot lap.
  • Race length will remain at the current target range of 40-45 minutes.
  • WILDCARD RACES will be increased to one (1) hour in total length.
  • Tire and fuel wear will remain the same for season 3 (Tire X10, Fuel X6).
  • Teams shall consist of one (1) driver from each division (North/South) and will be limited to two (2) drivers per team.
  • Teams may use cars of DIFFERENT manufacturers but will be required to keep the same PRIMARY COLOR and PRIMARY SPONSOR.
  • The race schedule will continue to be randomized monthly. We have also decided that Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be the first track/race scheduled for every season moving forward. We really liked this suggestion, and chose this specific track, as it was the first ever ARL race/track we ran.
  • Revised IR reporting, penalties and Steward structure: A new form was introduced to help with reporting IR’s a little more user friendly. Look for additional information on this before the season kicks off. The BOD also ruled that any driver placed on any type of penalty probation, that penalty probation will follow the driver to the ARL’s other current series or future series. Finally, we have restricted our Stewards and their responsibility back to you, our driver base. Any IR that is filed within the timeframe required, will be reviewed, decided upon and communicated back to the drivers no later than 9:00pm (Eastern) following the race week.

WELCOME TO ARL!

@kpstormie

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join ARL:

We run a clean league by enforcing a penalty system . We also expect all of our drivers to know how to race clean and respect others on the track. Please if this is something that you cannot follow, then this is not the league for you. Once that is understood, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. Review ALL of the first post of this thread, paying extra attention to the Race Night Layout, Qualifying Procedure, and Race Night Procedures!

2. Review the current car list and find a car that does NOT already have 4 names next to it and post a reply here in thread that you understand the first post, containing your car selection, your PSN and attach the following GTPlanet names so we can make sure everything is in order and get you on the Grid!

@TexasJDC @Nick Cannella @Herimopp89 @Jw_wk1010 @Ryan Kirk @Neutty

3. Review the schedule and post in the thread by 6 est on Saturday your intent to fill your position on the grid. (Failure to do so by 6 est will result in a DNS.)

4. All of our lobbies are set to Friends only, so on the day of the race find your lobby that you have been assigned to, and make sure that you are friends with the host of that lobby!

5. Race Clean and most importantly, have FUN!

During the week we run a number of
different events, we encourage all to join as many as possible.

I already signed you and @LuisT _99 up for the season. Part of my Team Manager duties.

The ARL doesn’t have any silly decal requirements. We allow our drivers total creativity. Have at it mate!
Just thought I would point this out. ARL doesn't have any rules regarding what is on the car. This is actually really good because I can create a car with specific livery requirements for another series and then come and run that same car here. Although they did say there are no rules at all, so I could run something a little different as well...

Viagra and Tampax liveries are already taken so dont get any ideas
I mean we had this in NASCAR, thank you JPM.
