GT news interrupts this program with an announcement from the shortbuswindowlickers camp.

“There were too many Window lickers on the short bus and we had to release them all.”

Here is what Neutty had to say about this terrible news.

“When we opened the doors to the short bus on our final drive home, everyone scrambled out of the bus and went in many directions. It was like watching 20 Mexicans scramble from a Toyota Corolla when INS rolls up on them at a stop light. It’s kinda funny though, the more I think about it, it’s like cockroaches scrambling when you flick the light on. Needless to say it’s been pretty quiet at the shop. I’ve re-evaluated the team and the Toyota Supra for this upcoming season. We arnt sure just yet on what we will be using, but I promise you we will be rolling up on the scene ready to put @Herimopp89 in his place. I’m currently working a deal with some laxative sponsors and plan to have them on the back of the car so @Herimopp89 will be inclined to stay behind me on the track.”

Have you had any manufactures reach out to offer anything for you to drive this season?

Neutty - “We have had many offers from multiple manufacturers and we plan to make a decision soon. We almost have the team completely rebuilt and we are no longer known as the shortbuswindowlickers. We plan to make an announcement soon concerning the team name! We are really excited about the upcoming season but may have a slight disadvantage at the beginning of the season. We are awaiting confirmation from Uma BadHaz on becoming our team director. Once we hear back from him we will know our manufacture for the season. I’m excited about this as it will allow me to show up and drive. Uma will coordinate everything going forward. Again we should know Tuesday on his official word!”

Lone Wolf Racing Press Release:

It's been a long day at Lone Wolf Racing. After hearing about an impending issurance fraud investigation our main sponsor Sherwin Williams Automotive has backed out. They asked Lone Wolf Racing to never contact them again.

Due to budget cuts we have had to go with a more "economical" vehicle for season 3. Thankfully the neighbors teenage daughter was selling her car.

After a long day in the shop working on the car and many phone calls we were able to procure a sponsor at the last minute.

Fresh out of the paint booth Lone Wolf Racing is proud to present the Wolf Cola Volkswagen Beetle.

@Nick Cannella noticed @LuisT _99 is missing from either list.

Also confirming that the class designations on cars will be listed as follows:

Silver (North) = White Number Plate w/ Black numbers
Bronze (South) = Black Number Plate w/ White numbers
Number plates... EESH! They are the bain of my existence and KILL my designs. KILL THEM! CURSE YOU, NUMBER PLATE!

How about we do blue spoiler for North, Grey Spoiler for South? Keeping it historically accurate ya know.

And where are the new team guidelines? The Team Regs doesn't look to have been updated.
We are a league for the drivers so I'll leave it up to you guys do yall want to tell the difference between divisions or is everyone good with the way we have been running it?

All the team and changes to the original post will be updated tomorrow afternoon. Sorry for the delay still trying to fix the computer at home

I can work with it if that's what was decided upon. I just think they're tacky and ruin a cars design. If you're looking for ways to tell divisions apart, I don't think plates would make a difference in track. You'd need something on the back as a marker. Either bumper or spoiler color, something the passing car will actually see. Spoiler or plates will make it easier or BOD. I will need official ARL plates though.

Tbf, still some room improv. in the pick below I just added a box around our existing team numbers, ARL as far as I know does not have an offical number plate so this is what I came up with to be legal.

Another option, just spit balling, can also mandate the windshield banners to be specific for each class. White for Silver, Black for Bronze

Edit: Touching on having something on the back of the car, could always just have a mandated decal on the back to delineate classes.

(disclaimer: I dont expect yall to do any of these options, it would be easier to stick with what is stated and roll with to keep things simple)

One thing to remember is we are all progressing the same as arl ask any of the BoD if they expected to see season 3 with 30+ drivers and I know I would have said your nuts lol. Theres gonna be good changes and some changes that dont pan out but our goal is to make sure the drivers are enjoying the series and everything that comes along with it

Just a suggestion.

Slow guys:
Black windshield banner
Yellow headlights
Black number decal on right rear bumper

Fast guys:
White windshield banner
Clear headlights
White number decal on right rear bumper

I think the banner idea is the key to this. If you guys feel like placing a number plate with corresponding colors on your door feel free to. But it’s looking to be the banner on the car that will make the difference.

We don’t want to over complicate this process and add unnecessary stickers to a car! We are still awaiting all of the BOD to respond to the idea but I am pretty convinced that we will be going this direction.

I for one will plan to use a number plate as I’ve always done.

Agreed, we do not want to over complicate what should be a simple process to implement and follow. We need a few more members of the BOD to chime in and put this to rest.
