Today, Smoky Top Racing was on track for some preliminary practice and testing.
The driver said "The car was great off the truck. After a few laps we really felt the car come in and we turned some good laps." "Our fastest lap this session was 1:25.222 and we felt good with that."
The team spent about an hour on the track and the pit crew ran its paces on several pit stops. The team plans on several more sessions prior to Satuday's Wild Card race.
