Idk about everybody else but after Texas ran 49 laps and had a disconnect I think he should be awarded last place points just my opinion as it was something completely out of his control
Thanks @Herimopp89 i do appreciate it alot..
it does suck to get booted after the practice and racing for 49 laps we might have to put something in the rules were if you complete 75% of the race then you get half of the last place points or last place points but giving it's not in the original post now I'll take my 0. I dont want to make a special ruling on it bc it happened to me but it is something that we as a group should address for the future bc I would hate to see that happen to anyone else

I think it is still early enough in the season for this rule to be modified. You should post that up. But also make mention that a disconnect must be reported, because it is treated differently than a DNF. My 2 cents...

scoring and stats have been updated. you may notice a change in scoring we have to implement a new form of scoring because the league is growing to the point we are going to need 2 rooms in the near future so it was best to go ahead and change the scoring now as opposed to later. i want to personally thank each and every one of you drivers who have raced with us, helped this league grow, and improve week after week. also @Nick Cannella has done a amazing job on the stats cant say enough how thankful i am for his help. also miss d has a website she has put alot of work into and its really something, very nice!

Thanks to everyone who keeps showing up and racing. I would have never thought I'd be in the top 5 (barely) after 2 races. I'm gonna bask in it for now because I know it wont last with this group of fast drivers.
Just goes to show that showing up each week is important, as well as finishing the race, no matter what place your in. Remember DNF's score zero (0) points.

You had a good race going last night for sure and u do have some speed u can stay close ton the top 5 for sure

I know its super early. But I wanted to confirm I will be racing in the next race. Speaking of which. I decided to flip the livery of my car as a tribute to Australia.

I'll be on tonight testing rolling starts if anyone wants to join I'll put the room number in the thread. It may cut down on turn 1 chaos that's the reason for the testing please let me know what you guys thing would be better false start check (what we have been using) or rolling start

I dont think rolling starts make much of a difference to be honest. But thats just my opinion. Plus the way that GTS does it. You have to make so much more time up if you start from the back.
It has its pros and cons pro being it spaces everyone out for turn 1 cons being the time you lose even from first to second is more than I anticipated. I saved the replays from tonight and I'm going to study them tomorrow night before I jump online to race see how big of a gap it was and ect.

Kind of split on this...the first race I started on pole, got a good start and was able to open up a 2.5 second lead by turn 2. 2nd race I did not get a good start and immediately lost about 4 positions. Qualifying will be key, as in any race at this track.
I am open to whatever the BOD decides on how to start this race. What will be key however, is patience, taking car of the car (no damage), practicing good race craft, looking ahead for passing opportunities and most importantly, HAVING FUN!

Be sure that if you plan to run a rolling start it easily glitches and will keep cars in auto drive. Be sure whoever creates the room will create a fresh room with fresh settings.
Gotcha thanks neutty I'm gonna do one more test with it tonight after 86 series and make a decision on it I'm about 50/50 right now

Well you could do a standing start. Then have everyone turn around and go back to the long straight and then drive towards the starting line instead of driving all the way around.
I think by the time we got everyone situated we'd have completed our pace lap.

I'll see if I can be around for some testing as well.
