I use cockpit view for everything in this game except for the 1.5hr Gr.4 endurance race and the ARL races. I feel these two leagues are the most important to me and cockpit view doesn't offer the best view for clean door to door racing.
GT league, Sport Mode & FIA Events all get cockpit view.

I use cockpit view for pc2 but cant for gt sport idk if it's the way I have it set up or what but I'm not comfortable using it and feeling confident so I gotta give you guys props for using it

I need 3 screens for cockpit view or VR headset. No game has ever been able to get it right except open wheel games.

Cockpit view only for me as well. Some research I did I found that the field of view in GTS is fixed, even if you adjust the cockpit cam. The in car cam only adjust the seat position, not field of view. The only way to adjust FOV in GTS is by moving your monitor. The rule of thumb is to set your monitor about 60% the monitor size away from your eyes. Depending how big your monitor is this can be super close. I have a 32 inch monitor and have it set 20 inches from my face. A little farther than it’s suppose to be but I needed space for my fingers on the wheel lol. Its weird at first but I’ve noticed a difference. I think I’ve been doing a lot better since I set it up this way.

The cockpit view for the Mercedes wasn’t too bad. But in the BMW I cannot see well enough in that thing lol. Also is it okay if I switch my paint scheme? I got bored and created this scheme the other night. Still the same sponsors in the car just DuPont as the main sponsor.

Yeah man everyone can change liveries as they please, I always run a few different ones throughout the season

Sure would like to have the patience to stuff like that!!!

Im using it in sport mode at suzuka with the 911
And it has been pretty fun now that I got used to it. Always with the help of the radar of coarse

Some cars have a good set of mirrors and some don’t have any. I’ve always relied on the radar but I’ve been trying to get away from it as much as I can. I think I’m too nice sometimes when I use the radar. I’ll leave doors open for others to pass when I should have just ran my line. It’s hard to judge the distance on radar with just a quick glance sometimes. It helps to race the same people all the time because you can anticipate their driving style more easily and have a little more trust. Cockpit view relies on faith sometimes lol

I'm not a Gordon fan but you did a remarkable job on that car. 👍

Mark me tentative please

It's really weird. Some stuff is on ESPNU, ESPN3, and the actual race is on ABC for me.
All races are on espn but I think Canada, mexico, and usa so maybe its bc it's in close proximity of the usa we get a local feed kinda like all the motogp races in Spain are on their local channels aswell as sky sports
