Oh, and there needs to be a chance limit when it comes to starting over waiting for someone. Starting nearly 40 minutes late was ridiculous only for the people we were waiting on to leave within Lap 5.

Backed out after 10 laps in Lobby A. The late start shenanigans made me too sleepy to even race.

Tempted to reconsider even racing with this timeslot, I'm absolutely junk after 9 PM.

We really never had these problems before this season.. it’s odd they start now. We are going to be discussing a change in things. We really want to allow everyone a chance to race. It’s very disappointing on how the servers were this evening.
 
Great race lobby B. Unfortunately I'm just pissed at myself for some bad situation that went wrong in the 2nd half.

Glad to say that I threw my controller across the room after that.

I'll just do my debrief when I'm much better and check out what went wrong for me... Certainly my mistakes cost me a good chance there.

Yeah I didnt know what happened if it was me or what bc right after I passed you I saw wtf and I asked heri if I did something or not

As far as start time goes. This was a planned adjustment for the end of daylight savings time.

I call bull on that. The time change hadn't happened yet, but if we were planning on it, then why was it not discussed with the group.

The WTF comment was my first shunt right after my first repairs due to a bad mistake on the grass.
I'm sure after my 2nd repair I accidentally punched it and the car snapped into the grass, and led to a huge burnout. But not to worry about it...

I'll just have to look at the mistakes and learn from it. 👍

Ultimately I'm more than happy to be a part of the races despite the sudden delays.

Your doing good man keep your head up and try to do better next week. Practice and learn you'll get it

Man I'm so sorry. I just watched the replay of the last few laps. Even though it never shows our cars colliding the game didn't see it that way. It acted as if I punted you off the track and gave you a ton of damage. As I kept going with out any knowledge that it blamed me.

I will fully own up to that and take full responsibility.
 
I know everyone is frustrated, even me. But let's all keep in mind that we are all here for fun.

We all try very hard to make things go as smoothly as possible. There is a lot of effort that goes on behind the scenes to make it look easy.

Everything we tried tonight blew up in our face.

We plan to have everything sorted for next week.

Its happened to me many of times. I fully understand.

I believe it's not your fault at all. I saw you on the map moving aside into turn 1. But the server probably had mistook your position and we ended up colliding on my end.

F the servers, really.

Initially I had an awesome start, was surprised that I could rocket past the midfield down the straight.
However I knew my race was done the moment I braked late at lap 2 and got ditched.

Actually you should! That's racing in laggy situations for all of us. I was relieved that you escaped unhurt anyway.

But sadly the emotions are still running high during and immediately after the race, so I'm just gonna chill out and savor the hilarious side of the league.

Meanwhile gotta sign out and bring my dad for lunch. :cheers:
 
Yeah guys is frustrating to miss a race just for a server bug after you practiced a lot its just not cool.
But I want to thank the BoD for allways trying to give us the best exp as possible

All drivers who either could not race, left the race or had other issues will receive last place points regardless.
This issue has been ongoing with PD and its about time they do something about their servers. I can certainly forgo any more tracks and cars at this time in place of getting these issues corrected.
Thanks to everyone who showed up tonight. We really appreciate the support. We will be having some discussions on how to streamline things before next weeks race.
I hope this experience tonight hasn’t soured any of you from racing in ARL.
