DRIVERS BREIFING

RACE: S1R9

TRACK: Brands Hatch GP Circuit

LAPS: 28

1. Remember if you haven’t confirmed status for tonight we need it before 10:30 EST.

2. This is a very tight track and we cannot stress enough how difficult it will be to pass and emphasize that making a clean pass is a must there is very little room for error.

3. The grass and rumble strips are very slick here 1 wheel off and your holding on for dear life. If you get sideways its always better to let off the throttle and gain control than trying to save it and over power the car loose grip and cause a major wreck

4. Turn 2 is going to be tight on the first few laps remember to hit your brake point ease through that corner until drivers start to space out. Use the grass if you miss your brake point bc its always better to run off than end yours and someone else’s race.

5. Pit exit is another tough place when you’re leaving the pits use caution re-entering the race and be mindful of the drivers approaching .

6. Good luck tonight everyone at the moment we don’t look like we need to split rooms but be ready if that changes I will try to make sure it rolls as smoothly as possible if we do.

@TexasJDC @Nick Cannella

Add me in. Ill try and get some practice laps in. If i dont feel confident I'll just asked to be started in last.
No worries man. Take it slower than usual the first few laps then slowly build up speed see which corners you can push and which corners you have to ease through. My first 6 months racing with no TCS was horrible it takes time but helps in the long run! Good luck tonight man

I have to say, getting more and more comfortable running with TCS off. I thought my learning curve was going to be far more difficult than it has been. Thought I had pushed Wangan off towards the end of Lap 2 in the last left hander, but he told me he got popped from behind a couple of times. Surely didn't want to ruin his race. He's pretty damn fast and don't want to hold our faster members up. The track tonight was a challenge, even though I have several hundred laps on it in GT Sport and couldn't begin to tell you how many iRacing laps I've put in. Anyway, I'm glad I found you guys, I can now say this is my permanent home for Sim Racing. I'm really loving the lack of ego, drama and kids that are fast but don't know the first thing about motorsports; Sim or real world. Thanks for allowing me to join your organization, it's been a welcome change!

Thats some great feedback and we are very glad you feel comfortable and welcome.

indeed, those vipers need to slow down!
Great win

Honestly I did about 40 laps on dragon trail with the viper before hand at 102 power and 96 weight on racing hards...so when I came to the in game.bop which in believe is at 83 power and 102 weight it felt so stable on the track
