Sorry guys, I’m out, just got called into work...
I am up for it.Currently sitting at 18 drivers for tonight. Are there any auto confirmed drivers that don't plan on attending? @VGR645 @aedenmaddok
Glad you could make it. This is an incredibly awesome league with some incredibly talented guys. Welcome to ARL.Thanks for the run and being ‘gentle’ with me for my first sat night. The peacock outfitted mclaren was quick. Now we just gotta find a better driver (and crew cheif ‘come in but dont don't change tires’ What!!??)
Anyone can be fast.Sitting here watching the replay. @WanganGhost is so fast, the official didn't throw the checkers until near 10 seconds after he crossed the line!
Despite the roller coaster ride of a season this was, season 7 has definitely been my favorite. The finale certainly didn’t disappoint.
I had a feeling everyone would be really quick this race considering how much seat time I’m sure many of us have had at Dragon Trail-Seaside. I knew I needed to keep my cool if I wanted any shot of a good result this race. A P4 quali result was a little tough to stomach, as I didn’t want to be swamped by a bunch of quick drivers...but the race didn’t pan out as bad as I thought.
I went in too deep into T1 on lap 1 and lost a place or two if I remember right. The recovery was a tall order considering, again, everyone’s pretty quick here. Even so, I kept my cool and pressed on. Lap 2 or 3 comes and we (the lead pack at that point) were barreling downhill towards the seaside when I decided to take the long way around @Herimopp89 in order to get the inside for the next corner. That door was shut and I made a bit of contact with the wall. Thankfully I didn’t lose too much ground off the front runners and was able to hold the tow until I made my first pit stop. After a splash of fuel and repairs to the front aero and RF suspension, the charge towards the front began.
I honestly feel like this race was a gamble for a lot of us, which made it all the more exciting. I’m sure there were a lot of tough strategy calls and hard racing to get us the positions we earned, but man this was a fun race. Come to find out from the replay, @Moby45 and I were essentially “mono e mono” at the end. He had fresher tires than me, but less fuel...whereas I was the opposite. It felt like ages catching that Beamer him and that car were so quick. Lol I can’t thank him and the BoD enough for the fun.
I will be working hard to keep this momentum up going into the future..but for now I’m just going to savior this first win at long last if you don’t mind.
Cheers everyone
It’s all good yo. I’m still in shock the race ended like it did. That was literally the most fun race I’ve ever contested in on GT Sport.Yea I felt bad for pushing you wide there so I was trying to concede position and ending getting damage myself inwas my own worse enemy last might and not the chicane
@Cornbread243 that shot of your car cresting the hill is stunning!

I was actually sweating trying to catch you lol. I’ll never forget the iconic Maple Pain Train with those beamers. It was a fun race man! I had a blast watching you push hard to catch up. I had plenty of fuel to finish but was taking the last part of the race pretty safe. I was trying to get max points as possible for my team and if I pushed too hard to keep you behind I was clocking that wall. Lol
I had a blast. I surprised myself with my pace therem
