I see no GT2 videos thread, so I'mma make a new one. Been a while since I've posted here. Some of you (okay, maybe one of you) may remember the Yuppy Scum series I was writing long ago. Close to 20 years ago! Well, here's the Grindelwald race Graham Wellington won. And I'll post other videos as well, as I find and upload 'em. Cheers.

... Gotta say, it's really amazing how close these races can be in the 2nd game.

Thanks for posting TumeK5. Been so long since I've done GT2 license tests! Wow, Red Rock Speedway. :)

Here is the infamous Historic Car Cup race against the Ford GT40.

I'm the one in the Datsun 240Z with the garish [R] kit.

Nice, thanks for adding some vids to this thread! I really need to continue adding other replays I've still got saved on ancient memory cards from 20 years ago. :embarrassed:

Punka94: Look at you work through traffic! neck on neck with that Corvette. Clean driving, too. Really impressive.

Thanks Parnelli Bones!!! Its not easy to be clean with "That IA", but that doesnt take away the fun of it. I'm also slow at uploading videos. I hope you publish yours soon so we can add views to your YouTube channel jajajaja

Thanks for encouragement. Seriously, I'll get something up by this weekend! I still play GT5 at least 2x a week, I just need to revert back to my previous fave game from the PS1 generation. :)

Alright, here we go. It's one of the Tuned NA races, I think. ALSO have a look at Post 3, which is one of mine. I posted a video there too, to create the illusion that I've been posting vids all this time.

TeaKanji: I just posted a Historic Race at Rome against GT40 as well, up above in POST 3. Except I used a 240Z instead of a Mini. And the GT40 started 4th so it got stuck behind traffic while I got into the front.

Those suspension settings are insane at 15 seconds in!
  • 1:50: catching up to the GT40! Drafting it.
  • 3:29: moment of truth. Great job skimming those walls. :)

Here is a '97 Mitsubishi Cyborg ZR competing against a Supra, NSX, etc. I am GUESSING this is from the A-license National at Mid-Field Raceway.

Chipping in, my brother and I created a playlist of videos featuring several split screen battles on Test Course in GT2. This track is normally not accessible in multiplayer so you have to apply codes to replace it with a regular track. There are 22 videos in total, each race is available in theater (full screen) mode and split screen with gauges.

You can find the list of duels below and of course, the playlist. :)

Escudo vs GT-one: That GT-one really screams!!!!!

Hi Parnelli. What are the specifications of your PC?
Sorry for late reply. I'll have to check. Lots of RAM, that's for sure. 8 or 12 gigs of ram. Graphics are inboard, though, not dedicated. Does that make a difference? The videos look fine thru my Hauppage, and they are perfect when just viewing them on this monitor. The slowdown occurs when uploading to Youtube. :-/

I do have a dedicated graphics card though, which I can try installing if that'll make a diff.
