Not a bad idea you had on sending PD your thoughts on remaking the GT1 and GT2 again with better graphics. Not long ago I found a thread here that talked about the GT3 graphics on the PS2 verses the GT2 graphics on the PSone. Well, I just posted a message to the affect that I thought that PD ought to make the GT3 game for the PSone, because there are still alot of people out there that just couldn't afford to buy the PS2 just to keep up with the sequals.
Well, did I get some responce to that comment or what?
My opinion was that PD just didn't know of the money that the company was loosing, because of the fact that alot of people just couldn't afford to buy a PS2, like me for instandants. And it was ashame that people like me that was having to live off of a fixed income, wouldn't have the chance to carry on with the GT games, because everything now is strickly being made for the PS2 console.
The next thing that I knew, there were plenty of comments posted saying that PD would be loosing money, instead of making more.
There reason was that it would take more money for PD to take the time to design the game and produce it for sale on the market. And it would be rather stupid for them to do so.
Well, it just seemed to me that it wouldn't cost anymore money to design the game and produce it for the PSone, because they were and still putting out new games for the console, right? But, I still was told so many times that I must be out of my precription of prozak or something. Just think of it though, there are no telling how many people out there that is on a fixed income that would be glad to buy the GT3 game, if possible. But, I was told in no uncertain terms, I was just nutty!!
But, I see that I'm not the only one out here that thinks that PD
would benefit from this if they would only realise they would profit in the long run by doing so. I mean, I think you have a great idea about remaking the GT1 and GT2 games with better graphics for the PS2.
There are just a majority more people out there that thinks that I need the men to visit my house and bring the white rap around jacket. Go figure!!
