Oh, I meant I was trying to make the LM Race Car into a GT500 spec car for the GT Mode JGTC race. But I must have made a mistake as it's already over 500 to start with. I must've been making it to spec with the upgraded ones in Professional League.

That wasn't for this time attack though.

Possibly could have shaved another .400 off that, but not tonight.

Toyota MR-S - 1'09.611

OK, this is probably too late, but I don't believe it! I got 1'09.306!

@Duke_of_hazard The deadline can be found in the first post. After we reach it, the next round goes alive.

I barely managed to go below the second result on the photo, but I finally succeeded. Reaching below 1'09 was very easy. The section on which I had big problems was stretched from corner 2 to corner 5 (based on the map Jason provided). The car would understeer or even oversteer under braking for corner 3, compromising the entire section, so I had to be careful. Camber adjustments helped a bit.

By the way, great job @Harsk100 , I couldn't believe that turbulent car like the Motorsport Elise could set such impressive time, not with that much power and that light weight on such bumpy circuit.

Corner 3 was fine for me but corner 4 gave me trouble, until I got it once, then I mastered it and it was actually my best corner. The sweepers before 8 gave me the most trouble. The little MR-S is a BEAST! On default setup even it was great! No understeer at all.

That was fun though, I'll enter more of these! Hoping for Grand Valley. Only track I'm better at than Deep Forest. Also, I'd love the ZZII to make an appearance as well as I'm so used to it.

Sorry for being a bit late on the updating. For some reason I didn't get any alerts for this thread which is odd. Times added.

@HDT Commodore The ZZ-II will definitely make an appearance in one of the later rounds...

Yes! That car is beast. It looks completely different in real life, but I actually prefer GT's.

And a thought: looking at Matej's time, it looks like I have a new personal challenge! I wonder if I can beat that time?

I also have an challenge to beat @Matej 's time... I was not expecting that he would beat my lap time...
That is why I'm glad I have done it. :sly: If you manage to beat my time with the Elise though, that would be miraculous. To be honest, I believe @HDT Commodore has more chance given that the MR-S is a heavier car with adjustable downforce, but let's not place the bets yet - we still haven't seen times from @Marco Lara and @Shahar , they may just come up with some ridiculous times none of us will be able to beat. :P

Regarding the ZZ-II: The GT Wing would be effective if the car came with decals and professional liveries; the plain body without additions is not very suitable for spoiler, in my opinion.

The Elise is underpowered but with full weight reduction it's a feather at just 650KG (only 100KG more than an F1 car!). Incredibly fast!

I hate to say this, but on circuits like Deep Forest cars with more weight can be in more advantageous position. Or in the worst case, they can be easier to drive, allowing you to be consistent in your laps.

Yeah the Elise spins like hell when touching the kerbs, especially on the sharp corner before the long straight w/ tunnel. The Clio/Lutecia Cup could be the best bet in this event along with the MR-S

The first 3 placed drivers on Round 4 are very close by each other, but you aren't keeping up the pace... If we had the Power Limiter on GT3, the Balance of Perfomance of the cars would be easier.

I suck at hot laps. I am better in an actual race than these time attack things. If I do this for GT7 (when it releases) then I may have PP limits and such.

Hmm... I see. But if the next round is the Max Speed, then you may catch up with our speed! :D

Impreza? Interesting... I overlooked all the rally cars, but 15/20% front torque may be helpful in this scenario.

I always liked the Motor Sport Elise. Then I drove it :yuck: I used it in the Elise Trophy. It understeered A LOT but every now and then oversteered like crazy out of nowhere! I probably ruined it in setup I guess.

Default setup (with a full tune & Racing Super Softs) isn't too bad, just don't hit a kerb or you WILL spin...

Yeah I remember the kerb now... Monaco was a pain.
The worst I have found is the one on the corner just before the straight with the tunnel. You can barely see the kerb and when you hit it you WILL spin.

Great job @Harsk100 although I don't think the Impreza is faster than the Clio - the 4WD car should be in better position on the section after you clear the first corner and climb the mini-hill, I just don't see where else the Impreza could beat the Clio.

We still have some time before deadline, so I may try and beat that lap.

@Matej Thanks. I was not expecting that Impreza would be faster than Clio as the mid-engined cars have more speed on straight line, while the most of 4WD cars have more easier cornering without oversteering at all.

I am so busy until next week. Ill probaly won't submit a time time last time. I love deep forest.
