Q: HELP! Why are my rewards sometimes missing, or my B-Spec drivers changing status by themselves?
A: This is a bug: the autosave feature in remote race is not working properly at this time. Every time you interact with an online B-Spec driver (e.g. change status from online to offline or vice versa, collect rewards, etc.), you must save explicitly yourself! If you don’t save yourself, you may end up losing data (rewards, online status). So always save by hand!

Yeah I do save manually couple times a day.

Alright guys? I wonder is there a limit to the number of races that can be hosted in one day? I'm stuck with red lines through my BOB's at the moment.
Is it just other people giving them some hammer, or is 15 races the limit?

Why are the rewards to small? for a 5min race with 16 others, mostly lower level, but not by much, but i only get like 5.000 credit and even less xp. And i won from starting 2nd.

Does anyone else have that the issue that once they collect the credits and Xp from their driver they become set as offline and are no longer available to race?

Always save manually after changing online status of a Bob or collecting rewards. The autosave feature is broken.

help....my new b-spec driver (lvl 0) are making money but not increasing XP, all still lvl 0 yet earn't over 200k each. what's going on or am I missing something?

Your drivers are earning credits and XP online. You must transfer the rewards to your local save. See the FAQ on how to do it.

i don't know if this has been ask already ( and sorry if it has ) but came you race your own drivers against each other.

Good thread NLxAROSA. Got a few things what are bugging me regarding this new B-spec update.

1. When signing in on GT5 website it's never up to date.
2. When watching a race on PS3, every once in a while I get a black screen.
3. When all my drivers are set to online and stacking up credits, the next day they automatically go
offline and I lose all my credits.

1. I noticed that too, the log is always behind, presumably on purpose (site is slow already )
2. Is the PS3 hanging at that time, or can you back out using 'O'?
3. I'd say this is the autosave issue, but you already stated you save manually. :S

At present it's not clear how the rewards system works exactly. Sometimes my drivers get around 3500 credits for finishing first, and sometimes they get 9000 credits for coming in 12th or so. More investigation is needed on this topic. Also, run the 20 minutes events for more cash.

I am currently level 36 and really want to get to 40 without having to slave away at LeMans. I RUN SEVERAL RACES PER DAY AND TRY TO EQUALLY DISTRIBUTE PARTICIPANTS. Normally I keep track with a spreadsheet to make sure each of my buddies who race my bob get an equal distribution of races. Also, All of my drivers are level 33+

Is there any way to get the remote races to automatically re-start? Like set up a race, run it and leave.. then after the finish it automatically starts again. No? Well it should.

Ah I see, thanks. I guess I'm not too worried about it, I'll probably wait for an official iPhone app or for PD to update gt5 my home with a little check-box, "automatically restart" ... I don't see anything wrong with it.

As usual, I'm not holding my breath, but hey PD's been delivering. Will def be an update soon with all the 1.06 bugs so..

I have a question regarding the career bar though: when I collect prizes and xp from my drivers I noticed the bar significantly grow bigger, but when I refresh my drivers status it seems to get back to where it was.

Anyone figured what's going on here?

It's hard to know what you are looking at. From my experience (only on a 1920x1080 PC) the main gran-turismo page is a normal full screen but the remote race screen is a fixed size. I have NO idea what this looks like on phones/iPad/whatever but it sounds like you need to maximise (you said you can't) or drag that window up as high as it'll go so you can see the "Start Race" button.

I've noticed while you are collecting prizes, most of the bars seem completely maxxed out, but once that window closes, you see where your Bobs are really at, which is probably just a smidgeon more than they were.

i'm quite convinced it is a windows vista setting. I can drag the entire pane all around, but the maximize square is greyed out. close and minimize ok. The bottom of the pane only shows a portion of the last races, as if they are "cut off". not sure what to change as far as settings....

Have you tried the Windows Vista hotkey for maximizing the window? (Alt + space, then X)

yep, tried the hotkey. how did the op post the pics of the on screen menus? If someone can tell me how to do that, i'll post a pic of my issue...thanks

I did it on my MacBook Pro, so the hotkeys are slightly different. But in Windows, you can create a screenshot from the active window by pressing Alt+Printscreen. This will copy that window to the clipboard. Then open Paint (or some other program) and select 'Paste' (Ctrl + V).

A: So far, nobody has run into the limit...yet. At this moment, there are drivers who have over 1,100,000 credits and are still going. As soon as the limit is discovered, this will be the place to find it. So keep on remote racing.

You can update that to 1,900,000+, if you're so inclined.

Also, I'm running all my guys without cashing out to see if there is a total B-Spec Bank of Bob limit. I'm currently at 6,966,880 and climbing.

That's not good indeed, should right there at the bottom right. Have you tried a different browser, like Firefox or Chrome?

You can update that to 1,900,000+, if you're so inclined.

You can only watch live on the PS3 that is hosting the race. You can save replays on all races and watch afterwards of course.

First race hosted of the day and it locks up.. now it has said "currently taking part in race" for 2 hours.. I hope this hasn't locked all the drivers i chose. Wont be home for another 8 hours

I have the problem that I don't see all my PSN friends in the Remote Race list. (they are even not greyed out)
I see from the log that they are racing my bobs, but can't find them in the list to host a race with their bobs.
Under my picture it says "friends in-game 24", but the list on the right only shows 16.
I already restarted my PS3, where I even see that they are online.

Don't know what to do, I just want to return a bit of the favor.

Slow updating by gt website. Trying logging out then logging back in. It's a known problem.

Why is that I when left my PS3 turned off all day and my new found GTPlanet friends were using my drivers, but when I got home and switched on my PS3 all of the money my Bobs had earned had disappeared. 1.2 million credits GONE. Anybody help with this?

I'm not aware that anyone knows the reason it happens but as Testdasi stated (for a different issue but the answer still applies) right above you:

It's a known problem.

One that I hope I don't get hit with, considering how much I have stockpiled. All in the name of science, right?

Can I still use my drivers in B-spec career if they are shared? Assuming theyr not all ready being used in a remote race by someone else.
