My fav is fafat's 599 cover so far.

I'm trying to do another and maybe include 2 cars but it's hard to find clean hi-res pics with cars in good positions, even for just 1 car.

I like it, it would with PD's theme of not having a full car on the cover of the full game also.

I agree, Northstar. Chronos' one with the R8 is my favorite by far, followed by NDeluxeBeats', because they fit with the theme of GT box covers up to this point. While the Nurburgring at night is cool, it doesn't seem right to have a GT box cover with only a track and no cars on it.

Oops. I meant julioangulo86's with the R8. Chronos' is nice, but I don't care for the background. Simple is better for the cover IMO. 👍

I agree, GT covers have always been fairly simple. Although I don't think julio's cover will make it since it has a AO rating.

Does that number plate and car look familiar? I have the same picture on my background at work. A bit more originality would be welcome on these entries...

So far, plagerised or not, the nurb cover with the trailing lights is by far the best.

I did not claim and would never claim credit for the Audi image because I did not create it. I merely used it as part of the cover - just like nearly every person here has used images freely available from the web. Accusations of plagiarism irk me when I clearly stated in my post "thanks Audi for having the shot already done with the race car reflection." If I'd claimed the image as my own, it would be a fair accusation, but I did not.

"A bit more originality would be welcome on these entries..." What do you want? Us to all use only photographs we'd taken ourselves? This is all a bit of fun and there's no prizes up for grabs. Enjoy that people are showing a bit of creativity ('plagiarised' or not) and let's get back to enjoying some of these awesome designs (my two favs are still the first Ferrari one, then the Nurburgring at night shot). 👍

I agree the F250 GTO (if anyone was wondering what car) is a beauty. I was trying to include a GTO Gran Turismo Omologato or AC cobra and something from the present.

I don't own a copy of photo shop but if somebody could knock this up I reckon it would look wicked and would be a perfect cover for the game as this car, as far as I'm concerned is THE CAR of 2009.

The nissan GTR is a world class car which re wrote the performance benchmarks for the type of car it is but I can't see it being on the cover as its a bit 'last year' now.
