I can't believe the journalists tracking this, aren't they allowed to ask questions that require answers? Like "how many cars will have cockpit view?"

I reckon they'll keep it close to thier chests till after E3. If the backlash ain't bad, great they've saved themselves money on programing cockpits/dev time. If we revolt, they have 5 months to render 800 cockpits lol.

That would be really awesome. I'd love to try and race cars against bikes.

Maybe in GT6. You can only add so many cars before it just gets ridiculous (and IMO, 1000 is getting up there towards ridiculous, although there are some cars I'd still like, mainly really old F1 cars, and supercars from the 1920s and such). Might as well start adding bikes (and planes?).
