Im sure there is a major misunderstanding here.

Even the slowest car in GT5:P had a quality interior view, and surely, that car isnt premium, which would be ridiculous right....

so WHY are u guys so upset when maybe its just 200 HIGH quality interiors, with the rest capped to a lower quality to improve the amount of overall cars in the game.
Because that's not how it is?

Interviews with Kaz are the only times when it's okay for guys to act like teen girls at a Backstreet Boys concert.

I blushed when he replied to my gtplanet loves you tweet lol. Just making sure he doesn't forget about us.

Well cockpit view in about 200 premium models, he might but a black frame around the others if we prefer. Maybe some weather too.

I Invite you to see the trhead I Posted about the MeriStation Interview, That should make you happy, and lots of other people too. :)

The interview says nothing new. It's also just another translation. The motor trend and other interviews said the same things as well as the emails paskowitz received.

Cockpit view is the thing I was looking forward to the most. A lot of the excitement dies for me now. Oh well, I suppose I could just wait for GT6 instead. :(

Oh well, I guess I'll have to get used to driving most of the cars in bumper cam then...:( I think they just set the bar too high this time with the cockpits!

I have to agree. It was at least 40% of the lure for me. Of course I will still buy GT5 but, man, this really sucks. There is just no other mature way to say it. So it goes.

Funny thing is not many people drive from the cockpit view anyway... I bet 90% of people play from the chase cam or bumper cam.

And we still get over 200 (TWO HUNDRED) fully modeled cockpits.

If they were to do all 1000, it would have meant fully modeling one cockpit every other day for the past 5 years! Unreasonable.

Screw the new cars, screw the new tracks, screw the new physics, screw the new game design, screw it all. Just give me cockpits!

Don't give me the "Well, Forza has 400 cockpits" BS - have you seen the cockpits in Forza? They stink. If you're gonna do it, might as well do it right. KY doesn't do things half-arsed.

I knew it was too good to be true, 1000 cars with cockpit view. I even said it about all those different articles saying the same thing, standard cars will have "no interior". I'm sure when journalists write no interior they are thinking of an actual interior of a car, not "lower detail, engine bay, undercarriage" or whatever we came up with to convince ourselves otherwise because we just didn't want it to be true. I knew it, but i was just hoping that it wasn't true, now that it is, It's like a big slap to the face. :(

Next time make 400 cars and 400 cockpits please. Not the ridiculous amount you have attempted and failed on.

Thank you.

We might all be dead by the time GT6 comes out if they continue this trend of long developments. GT5 took 5 years, so GT6 will probably take 15 or so, but with delays this could easily stretch to 50 years.

Has he actually stated that there will not be cockpit view in all cars?

No, he hasn't.

But he was asked a question about interior/cockpit views in standard cars. In his response, he brought up the black frame of the sort we saw in GTPSP.

He's either messing with our minds, so we get a big surprise when we put the game in our PS3. Or he is telling the truth and we've all been royally screwed by the 5-6 year development that has only resulted in 200 completed vehicles.

To conclude:

2008 GT5P - about 70 premium cars
2010 March 31 - (striving to) about 170 premium cars
2010 November 2 - 200 premium cars

Makes sense...I mean no way they have 70 cars with cockpit at 2008, then 850+ at 2010.

Not to be a jerk but can sombody please post the exactl words kaz said during the interview or tell me where i can find this information thank you.

So, its confusing, but it seems... that KY knew we wouldn't like the news that only 20% of cars have a cockpit view, so hes pretending its not the case, by implying that 'yeah it is possible that we could use the black outline from GT PSP for those 800 cars' Tbh perfectly honest, I only use bumper cam, but I would have liked to see how well they made the cockpit on the 190e AMG evo 2...... Oh well Im guessing thats going to be a standard car. I think it would have had another delay if they had to put a cockpit for every car.

Thanks for the answer.

I wont give up hope untill it is confirmed either way.:)

Has he actually stated that there will not be cockpit view in all cars?

Not really, he just said
Regarding interior view...do you mean you would want a black frame interior view?
And then
By blackframe, I meant same as in PSP (re: cockpit view)

I for one can't still imagine that cars like the Suzuki Cappuchino or Daihatsu OFC are "premium" ones with interior view ...just see it that way:

If only premium cars will have interior view, all cars featured in Prologue must have it - BUT - premium would also (as far as I know) mean full visual damage model ...and I can't imagine that every manufacturer in Prologue is allowing that.

Only time will tell, but I won't believe it until the question "Will all 1000 cars feature cockpitview?" is answered with a clear "No."

KY
The CR-Z is a car that is really interesting once you tune it. And I'm considering buying one myself just to tune it ^KY #Honda #E3)

yAY. He also mentioned putting a turbo on the cr-z.

So...that means the Suzuki's and Daihatsu in GT5p are premium??? These already have an interior, what are they going to do? black them out because they're not premium? All this just doesn't make sense
