This is the selfish work of Kazunori Yamauchi. He designs the game the way he wants. Not like Turn 10 that has a 2 year plan with everything the users want. Kaz did not ask us if we wanted 500k polygon cars at the cost of car count.

Hey yeah umm LaBounti, just a heads up, you're about to blasted by the entire GT community for comments like that against Kaz. Not that I entirely disagree, just letting you know. :P

One of the most ignorant statements made thus far. And now you've got other people believing what you said. This is what bad publicity is for GT5.

Not even that the Shelby is in the game. Just sad mad so many know it all's

I do have a feeling they are gonna leave out a LOT of current key cars...which is extremely disappointing. Does anyone know if Koenigsegg made it in? It would really be a shame if they didn't :(

Yeah would be lovely to have the Koenigseggs in GT5!

Ignorant in what matter? all the cars I've listed haven't been seen yet, some manufacturers (like Bentley or Cadillac) were not even in the dealership display shown in the video, wich means all we may get for them is standard cars wich more than likely means just the Cien and the Speed 8 for these 2.

People may say what they want ie it's a random car dealership, there may be premiums in the used car department but I more than skeptic; what we see is what we'll get, period.

Again the GT500 is in, and the official car list has yet to be seen.

Right when he enters the dealership it says something like displaying cars at your current level. Can't read it its too blurry.

Edit: Cars of this make available for purchase at current level 1

Cars of this make available for purchase at current level: 1

From memory. :dopey:

Lambo I suggest you stop right there. I don't want to see another fail from you, even if that would be funny.

You just said it yourself.

Ignorant because as 50 million other people have already said.. We have barely seen anything yet. Only a couple specific manufacturer screens in the New Car Dealership menu in blurry videos..

Some of what you listed are models that are not currently produced by that manufacturer. Other models you listed are very specific models of cars that are already in the game anyway. So as I said before.. It is likely that either they are not available yet.. Or they are only available in the Used Car dealership. Who knows. So please stop making statements about whats available when we don't know whats available yet.

And it would be mathematically impossible for Forza to have a faaaar superior car list since its about 1/4th of what GT5 has. I'm not saying this as a statement, but just to point out to you how unfounded your comments are.

Well I've been playing GT PSP which has 830~ cars in for the last few months...

It may seem like a lot of cars, but many of them don't interest me that much, which may interest the car-history enthusiasts more...I was looking for more typical every-day cars like BMW 6 series, Benz G-class, Toyota Corolla, TSX, etc. Basically NEW cars, not just old cars remodeled with better graphics...

NOT ALL TRACKS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE START

NOT ALL CARS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE START

THEY DID THE SAME THING IN EVERY SINGLE GT GAME

SO WE DO NOT KNOW THE FINAL CAR OR EVEN TRACK LIST........

sorry about the caps lock

The home menu looks a little cluttered, that might take some getting used to. Other then that it looks pretty cool, I really like the rain effects with the Zonda.

If you know you're going to have to say sorry, then don't do it. 👍

Its nice to see in the menu surfing video that there was like 80ish special events, which I assume are like the driving missions from GT4. I saw a NASCAR one and one with Top Gear Test Track. I know these things have been introduced somewhat but what looked cool to me is that they were all spaced out. There wasn't just a bunch of NASCAR events in a row, for example. I loved the missions in GT4. Just not one like # 34:scared:

 I remember punching my couch many times with those driving mission. This is why I Love GT. When playing my other racing gaming FM3 there is really no fun things to do with driving, just race and level up. In GT you have license and driving mission. 👍

Agree, what I used to do is do a bunch of licenses, race some events, do some missions, rinse and repeat. It was always something fresh and I hope you can still switch it up like that as you wish. Looks to be so.

Regarding the question of if we have seen the full car list of some manufacturers - Lets use Ferrari as an example, the f1 2010 was in the list and if thats availible then every model of ferrari would be availible wouldn't it?

Very disappointing as Forza has the f50 and the f430 scud etc .........

Well not in sheer quantity, but I have to search quite toroughly in my mind to find a car that I'd like to drive that's not in there....

And the current-gen Shelby GT500 is in? If so good thing, but I check here daily and didn't noticed that, but I might have missed..... but it's not even on the 359's car list?

PS And how do you explain the 300SL or the F40 are in the new car dealerships of their respective brand if it's reserved to brand new cars?

Any picture anywhere?

That F430 scud is in the game please before you post know your facts. Also the official list has not been seen yet.

Well yes its all a matter of opinion. While you seem to greatly want some Cadillacs.. I could honestly careless. Only thing they've got is the CTS-V that would remotely have a chance of interesting me.

But to so this game is rubbish and Forza is faaar superior because it has a couple Cadillacs is not a very good argument.

So going back on quantity.. 1 super car is not worth having over 25 unique whatever-cars.. And while everyone loves to complain about duplicate models (skylines).. It takes them however long to model the R34 for example.. Now with a few quick minor paint/trim adjustments they've got another R34.. and then another.. and then another.. It makes sense for efficiency. I'm sure the Forza developers see it the same way.

But again. We are not sure what the final car list is. It is safe to say though that if the car is in GT4 or GT PSP.. It is very likely to be in GT5.

I think at the end of the day, Forza has better licensed content (like cars and tracks), but GT has better gameplay and features.

Is the current gen 2010 or 2011 gt500? 2011 mustang gt? sorry im a mustang enthusiats Im just hoping for something other than a 05 or 07 mustang gt they always slap on there

Wishlist

- I'd love a car count of what's available initially, so I can work out how many premiums are left to unlock.

- I'd love clarification on the 2nd hand / standard model scenario.

- I know there is no livery editor but I'd love to see what customisation stuff there actually is.

- a Course editor demo, preferably a really narrow twisting hilly attempt.

- damage demo!

- a run through of the finalised various car views.

- a drive through of Monaco.
