So the people from this site who constantly whine and complain when they are dissatisfied with what they get instead of backing PD anyways because that is what a true fan does, are PD's supporters? How does that make sense?

As a fan we expect progression, we just don't blindly support a product that can't stand on it's own, this has increasingly become more apparent to me the last 7 years or so, as the economic conditions demanded you think first before you buy, where "youtubing" the vids and checking social media for screenshots became normal in the process of making up your mind when it comes to purchases and at the end of the day you and I are buying something that we expect to be "the definitive real driving simulator", we where expecting something way better than GT5.5 where you have to factor in that a fan will always expect the best from what he is supporting, otherwise you get the griping and complaining, a sure sign that the product, program, or series is now dissatisfying, unfortunately the "age of hdd" rolled in on us when just about every developer set their mentality to "we'll just patch that later, let's roll it out", back when I was working for a development studio out in westwood, during the PS2 days, making sure your product was up to spec took priority that it took two teams of professional testers to sign off on it before you released it, a far contrast to what we are getting as fans and consumers right now.

GT6 feels like it's trying to catch up to GT5 and slowly add things we already expected it to have - that is all

To each his own i guess, I'm just gonna put some distance between me and GT6. - cheers don't take my jibe too seriously i'm off to the great adventure known as the mighty PS4 !

I'm not trying to feed the troll here but I think most of us here are pretty die hard fans otherwise we wouldn't be actively posting. I personally back PD 100%. I guess most of us were hoping for more from a software developer that makes a lot of claims and doesn't really follow through. I've personally purchased every version of Gran Turismo and plan on continuing that trend. I could have swore this thread was kind of a little comedic release valve. I'm' pretty sure it is.

I wasn't trolling. It seems like the definition of a 'fan' has gone from being 100% behind what you like, to crapping all over it when it disappoints you. I never had a problem with any GT's releases, although i believe that Sony should lessen the pressure on them when it comes to release dates. Im pretty sure that PD wants

Dude. It´s not about being a fan. It´s about being lied to and ripped off for your money SO FAR!. So not at all funny what you picture there. We are all fans. Otherwise we wouldn't be here. What you mean are fans wearing pink glasses.... seeing the world in pretty pink.... you know what I mean.

Nobody whines... we just state our discomfort about paying money for less then promised... like you pay the bus from Town A to Town B but he drops you off right in between telling you the next bus will come within the next month. You paid the whole trip.... but stuck in the middle not knowing when the next bus comes so you can finish your journey. But since you are a fan, you accept the challenge... or not?
