Gran Turismo 7 Bug Reports

I've restored the rigidity on a Copen '02 well over 10 times now, and no trophy. :(

Pretty sure you have to buy the "Increase Rigidity" tuning item for 10 different cars to get the trophy, restoring the rigidity doesn't count.

Oooh, okay, gotcha. Does the Bit Of A Boost have to be for 10 different cars as well?

EDIT: I did that Increased Rigidity on 10 different cars (10 Copen '02's) in the Tuning Shop, to no avail. I have also bought over 10 super chargers/turbos for 10 different cars, no trophy yet on that either. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, or are these buggy too?

Has anyone else experienced roof cam bugging out? For me it regularly causes the car model to flash on and off and in some (rarer) cases it may disappear entirely for a few seconds.

I quickly scrolled through this thread and didn't see anyone else mention it (whoops if I missed it), but it happens to me very regularly in basically any car that I've noticed. Video of it here:

This is a pretty harmless one compared to some of the others in this thread.

When using the roof view, if your rear view is set to moving an analogue stick down, partially moving the analogue stick down will result in your car disappearing (visual only, car still drives) while the camera continues to look forwards.

Moving the analogue stick all the way still gives you rear view with a visible rear end of the car, and it will return to front view as normal. Just thought this was interesting, for some reason the car visually disappears from only partially using the rear view.

Don't have any video of this currently, but I had no problem reproducing it.

Not sure this is the same issue I'm having, but perhaps something similar. It happens to me without touching the right stick.

Has anyone else experienced roof cam bugging out? For me it regularly causes the car model to flash on and off and in some (rarer) cases it may disappear entirely for a few seconds.

Might be your right analog stick getting a little stuck. Having the same issue.
 
I don't know if this has been brought up, I think the 100 cars trophy is broken. I have 101 cars in my garage now and I didn't get the trophy.

EDIT: Nevermind I got it now!

Oh damn, I think you're right. One of my two controllers is in the early stages of stick drift. Really not bad yet but I do notice it some games at certain moments. That must be it then.
 
Anyone else try driving the Daily Race B at Deep Forest yet? I'm encountering an issue when I try to use the Nissan GT-R '94 car. When I start the qualify, that first hairpin turn, my wheel just stops turning and the car coasts right into the barrier. Or, if I cut it a little deep the steering will cut out after the sausage kerbs on the inside and again stop responding and hit the barrier.

I've tried using a different setting sheet, restarted my F1 Podium wheel, tried numerous other similar cars and taken this GT-R to other tracks and can't reproduce it. I do recall a Gr.3 or Gr.4 race from the cafe menu where I has to turn the wheel in a TON to get the car to turn in (I thin kit was the Audi RMS Evo?). It also does it in offline mode from the World Circuits. Anyone have issues with this hairpin?

So, i reported the "stuck in menu bug" to Sony Support, finaly. I also did sent them a link to this threat, that in case they really read it, it might get a chance to get recognized, though! Since i am stuck in menu Nr 19, since March 4th, 20:13 (MET), i could not really enjoy playing GT7 the way i´d love to, like the majority of you guys in this thread. I wish the best of luck for everyone of you, that they will fix this ASAP! Cya at the track!
 
There are no skid marks. If this is not a bug it’s ridiculous. We’ve had skid marks since GT5, yet it’s too much for the PS5 to handle?

Edit: Also, buying a new body for my R32 GT-R did not remove the wide body kit, which is kinda weird.

I had completed the Mustang menu but it would not advance to the next one. I am on PS4.

Yes , after deleting the data the game resumed EXACTLY where it was stuck prior. I lost nothing.

Happy to know I'm not alone either. Mine seems different than everyone else's though. The game disconnected while I was collecting the reward and now I'm stuck at not evening being able to select that option. I just have "archive" that I can click on that does nothing. If I click on the book itself it just shows that all three cars are acquired. Even worse this is on book 1 so I genuinely have three tracks, and license tests I can play with. New car dealer isn't even unlocked for me. Very frustrating.

Here the same problem, data remove from console is not the solution credits and cars and licenses are still there, now the tuning shop is there it wasn't before but book 1 still blocks everything else/

I'm still on Book 25 and with so many reports on here saying this was happening, I stopped doing them and was waiting for a patch.

I am on PS5 as well, but the delete save files solution didn't work for me. I deleted both files, on console and on cloud, as well. I'm still stuck at menu Nr 19. I was hoping, that total deletion would do me fine, but it turned out, it didn't.

Woa.. how is this even possible?
If their servers cant correct the issue , it's definitely broken on a game level.
Can't believe this wasn't properly tested.
 
In the Livery Creator the windows of the Nissan S15 don’t work.. can’t apply any stickers on the shown space (back and side windows)

That's quite an oversight though. My internet is pretty dependable, I've had maybe 2 issues with my ISP in about 5 years... but I did have a few server issues with GT Sport since 2017. Those were definitely on their end.. I don't like how at any time our save files in GT7 may just break if it happened again.
 
Okay deleting game saves fixed the bugged car settings sheet on the focus rs. The setting sheet now has a name again, The pp has now gone up and the modifications stay on the car.

But it didn't fix that it says stage one weight reduction is fitted yet the car is still standard Weight and cant buy stage 2 weight reduction because it says I need stage one fitted. But it's already bought and fitted.

Anyone else have their best time not match on their friends list for Mission Challenge 1 (The Magic Mountain). I'm not sure if it's meant to only display your first gold time or not but I did a second run yesterday because I got a shedload of wheelspin exiting the turn and wanted to rectify that, which I did, but the time didn't update. Just checked again and it still hasn't :confused:

It's the same thing for me. At least you beat your friends list in the first try. On the third try i got a 22.7-something and it didn't update :grumpy: There was a similar bug in GT Sport's Circuit Experience mode. PDi patched it, but you had to beat the time registered in your local game save before the public leader board would update. So now is probably a bad time to go for unbeatable MC world record times.

Another bug I ran into was after registering for sport mode and then immediately going back to the map screen, I couldn't save screenshots or game-play. Presumably the game re-entered the "personal information on screen-mode" when i pressed the back button.
 
I've lost engine sound on two occasions now. Both times I was able to hear the "echo" of the engine when I was in a tunnel or near a wall. It was just a faint sound of my engine, but was a bit louder in tunnels.

Playing on PS5 and roof cam, if that helps.

Car Sounds - My car sounds like it is muffled and in a tunnel. Lots of reverb. Other players cars during the race sound just fine.

I was able to catch the same kind of freeze I was talking about in this post just a moment ago. It did exactly this right as I was collecting the reward for book 1 and have been stuck ever since.

The same thing happens to me constantly. Freeze, yellow sign and loss of connection. My internet works great. I can't play more than 10 minutes. I have the coffee bug of death too, book 10 fix news???
 
I had a PS5 system update today, and after that, all of my GT7 trophies became locked again. It seems that when I do 1 thing associated with the trophy, they unlock again (example: buying a car after getting Firm Favorite), but I'd rather not have to go through all of this again just to get trophies I already unlocked.

Not sure but somewhere it was said about decals on windows that not ALL windows have this ability to have decals on them...
