Gran Turismo 7 Car Filter

Just a thought, as I've been inspired by it.

Standard & Premium Type Filters
The idea of creating such an interface layout, that there is a filtering option that could
allow you to only see dealer ships, thus cars of it that have standard cars, or set that
you would only see Premiums.

GT Expansion
Gran Turismo is becoming a much vaster game, & as it stretches as it is, it is also losing
it's structure in the process. The game is amazing, but itself, it lacks quality in how it presents
this content.

Grand Scheme in Fate
So, for now, these are the things I wanted to get out of my head & on the forums. It is a topic
that came out not to long ago, (from a source), that mentioned a grand scheme to things with
GT7. The point being, GT7 needs to find improvement in certain areas across the dealership, the
garage, tune ups, & more.

My current thoughts on GT7 future design.

GT is like the house of a hoarder, it just needs to throw all the accumulated crap away. We only have so many useless cars from the late nineties/ early two thousands because they (standards) were quicker to model. GT could do away with 500 cars that nobody would miss, that would include the duplicates and such.

You failed on the drawing board. There are no standards anymore in the game and I don't see Kaz reviving what is essentially a negative distinction.

Well if Kaz says that there will be standards in GT7, then if i know Kaz at all he is gonna keep duplicates in all just so the car count can still be record breaking, even though none of us want them. Although, Kaz has been looking more to the community now that the PS4 has less limitations so PD can actually get more ideas from the community, even though PD was pretty creative in the first place but not always in a good way.

Anyways to get back on topic, i think that the dealership should have more layers. for example, this is what im envisioning:

If PD is going to do a main menu like GT6 then it should have collapsible categories (Career mode, Arcade mode, etc.), in my opinion the menu should be like 1-4. when you go into the dealer it should ask you if you want to see standard or premium cars. Then it should be divided by country (similar to GT3 & 4). Once you click on a country, you should see all of the manufacturers that the game has in that country in alphabetical order. Cars should also be displayed like the dealers in GT4 & 5 (premium dealer in 5). Lastly, PD NEEDS TO BRING BACK THE DIFFERENT TIMES OF DAY FEATURE FOR THE DEALERSHIP THAT WAS PRESENT IN GT5!

I agree about a filter for standard cars in the shop but I want one in races too...
I don't want to see my hard earned premium Audi R18 LMP alongside a ugly blocky Panoz with low resolution textures...
If PD don't have the balls to get rid of standards and duplicates at least give me the possibility to not see them...

By the time GT7 comes out I'm guessing all of the standard cars will have been reworked, or at least, all the standard cars featured in GT7 will be reworked. I am a strictly cockpit view player in all my racing games, (well those that feature it, I'm looking at you GRID 2) and so I really don't care for these upgraded standard cars unless they have some type of interior (silhouettes don't count!).
