This is the first prototype race car in postwar Japan that was developed by Prince Motors, Ltd. to beat Porsche, the champion of the 2nd Japan Grand Prix in 1964. The chief engineer was Shin-ichiroSakurai (1929 -2011) who was famous for engineering Skyline generations.
Original aluminum body was mounted on the similar chassis to BrabhamBT8, and the GR8 engine of 4-valve DOHC newly designed based on the G7, OHC was mounted in the middle.

This car is the actual car No.11 driven by Yoshikazu Sunakothat won its first race of the 3rd Japan GP at Fuji Speedway in 1966. This means Prince Motors won the last race before merging with Nissan Motor.

This car was fully restored by NISMO in 2013 and repainted in the same red as 1966 later in 2018.
