Still be proud - while the patch notes says what the cars that can get swaps are, it doesn't mention where the engines come from.
959. As per my previous post on the last page.

@the Interceptor.

I don't think so, as the Cayman gets the Maverick engine, and there are yet no cars that get 2 different swaps.
Ah, I overlooked that post. Thank you!

So currently we have:
  ・ Porsche 356 A/1500 GS Carrera '56
  ・ Porsche 911 Carrera RS (901) '73 -> 959 engine
  ・ Porsche 911 Carrera RS (964) '92 -> 959 engine
  ・ Porsche 911 GT3 (997) '09
  ・ Porsche Cayman GT4 '16 -> Maverick engine

959 in the 356 too, and RSR for the 997.

Edit: First post updated!

Funny:
One of the 6star tickets from the menus of this update, gave me the 959 engine.
3 of the new engine swappable cars are currently available to buy. 911 '92, cayman and 911 '09.
911 '92 gets the 959 engine and the other two get engines that I already got spared.

So I got 3 engine swaps for free. Lol...

It's official, we have a new speed king :bowdown:

Porsche Cayman GT4 with Maverick swap: 505km/h or 314mph, edges out the Silvia by a couple clicks.

Edit: Re-ran the Silvia just to be sure, and I think the physics have changed in a way that's slightly better for max speed. I matched my best Silvia speed easily but in this update, more cars are benefiting from higher front springs for some reason...

Possible references for this update's swaps:
  • 959's engine to 964 Carrera: Ruf RCT or 964 Turbo, although the displacement is lower
  • Maverick Windsor to Cayman: Ruf RGT8
  • 911 RSR to 997.2 GT3: 997 GT3 R (seriously with the right GT Auto parts and widebody this thing is now just interior and classification away to a Gr.3 car).

This might seem like a strange question, but do any of the new Porsche swaps improve fuel economy? So far my favorite swaps are still those which give insane power but also insane fuel economy (like the 787 and R92CP). If they won't let us install racing fuel cells, this is the next best thing.

So far the 997 has received the RSR engine swap.

I got the Nissan Silvia S15 engine - should I put it in the Fairlady Z432 '69 or the Silvia S13 Ks '90? Guessing the latter is more fun?

All these new expensive swaps and the Porsche lottery got me the Rx7 engine. Whoever rigged the roulette is damaged goods. Back to the grind.

The swapped Cayman is a genuine MONSTER. It really needs to be seen to be believed.
At Monza I had to brake almost 300 metres before the first corner because it's just that fast in a straight line. This was fully tuned by the way at 1,083KG and 1,401HP, which I believe makes it the road car power to weight king. Only the Tomahawk X accelerates faster. It's absolute insanity.

Did a speed run in the '56 Porsche Carrera with the new swap, and it's surprisingly fast at 278mph/447km/h:

The other 3 swaps all hit well over 400km/h for anyone wondering:
911 Carrera RS '92: 442km/h or 274mph
911 GT3 '09: 435km/h or 270mph
911 Carrera RS '73: 418km/h or 260mph

The Chiron is higher, but it's the only one. Surprisingly the Silvia S13 is not in third place, but rather the Nissan 240ZG '71 just edges it.
