Just from the car silhouettes alone, I think this update has easily become one of my most anticipated updates in a long, LONG time. The Z4M and 205 Rallye were super sweet cars in earlier GT games, and the 208 GTI in this game is one hell of a surprise sleeper. The Unimog (if it is indeed the Unimog) would break the monopoly Toyota has thus far had with utility vehicles, and is a welcome sight just for that alone. I can't wait to see what the community does with it!

Add onto this the hype that this is an update with supposedly much to discuss, February 2025 is shaping up to be one hell of an update, can't wait!

Some vids for possible relevant viewing. Plus I always like to see stuff like this posted here so that those people who always complain about every car that's added that isn't a modern GT3 car. And some that think all hatch backs are mom-mobile grocery getters. * cough * Maybe can learn to broaden their horizons.

Vicki is always welcome.

Bit of a modern version I think but still cool/relevant (and Henry is always welcome):

Hoping we can swap the Group B Peugeot engine into the 216 so I can detune it and create the T16 Homologation model, as i'm like 90% the widebody option will turn it into this:

Well, I guess I was wrong about the cars. But I was right about it being next week. So, huzzah!

I'm hoping the kei truck is the Daihatsu Midget II. I also have to agree with others saying the Convertible is the 1st Gen BMW Z4 and the hatchback being the Peugeot 205 GTi (either that or the Rallye). The 205 GTi would be a good playmate for the other 80s Hot Hatches in GT7 right now.

Maybe the Unimog is what was meant by „a lot to discuss“?
But on the other hand „a lot“ should include more than one thing🤔

I think Famine is onto it with the Unimog. Which could mean the "lot to talk about" reference could be like a mud bog drag race course. Certainly would be interesting and not impossible for PD. They made a whole mode that was the lunar rover lol

Funny seeing most of us here excited for the cars but twitter/X full of people complaining for no GT3 cars and no track (even when tracks are not teased by Kaz lol)
To be honest we are severely overdue for updates to GT3 cars. The 458 GT3 is the most "up to date" Ferrari GR3 group car, but in real life the 458 is a 15 year old platform. Ferrari has gone through the 458, 488, F8 and now on the 296 GT3. Same with the 650S, M3, Corvette (which debuted during GT6)...etc

Very curious about what else is in this update..
Me too. It's kinda hard to get the exact interpretation of "there will be a lot to talk about". It could mean one of two things: a lot of discussion about the identities of the cars (which is what we're having right now) OR a bunch of new content to explore. Needless to say I want it to be the second option lol.

Someone here speculated that this could finally be the full force implementation which sounds kinda plausible because. that could be something Jordan got wind of ahead of time and is something he brings up a lot.

Would be great for Fanatec users of course, but needless to say I’m hoping for something else.
