Giulia Sprint GTA, SEMA Maverick, and the mysterious R32.
The R32 does not appear to be Gr.A racecar, at least from what I have seen of the interior and wheels.
Some people have theorized that it might be a Nismo...
Hopefully it’s the R32 S Tune!

Skyline GT-R NISMO (R32) ← Evolution model for Gr.A races
1971 Ford Maverick ← GT AWARDS 2018 Winner

GT-R NISMO was judged by the additional part on the front edge of its hood, the special side sill protectors and the road car's 5-spoke wheels.
It's back after a long absence since GT2!

TS020 looks great! Glad you all hyped that one up for no discernible reason.

I still don't know how I feel about the SEMA cars overall. They're nice cars, but I would rather have a stock Ford Maverick with the SEMA body-kit options in GT Auto.

What's the point of having a decent customization system if we're just going to be getting different trim levels of the same car anyway?
Don’t see how these things are correlated at all. Having 2 or 3 different versions of the same car does not offer the flexibility of a full customization system.

Having different (iconic) versions of a car is cool.
Being able to customize a car is cool.

You might be on to something. Didn't think of the homologation version and it probably makes more sense than the Nismo version as the brand is pretty much absent from GT7, apart from the GT-R and race cars. Makes me wonder if it has something to do with GR as PD feels to lean more towards Toyota nowadays?

+1
I miss the upgrade options like GT6 had where we could build a few cars with licensed aero parts. Now, if you'd add some kind of race modification feature with additional weight reduction, tube/race chassis mods, gusseted cages thus turning a road into a Gr. 1-4 race car. Or tuner brands where you could upgrade your stock car to show or race car spec.

I guess it comes down to including certain models that have a certain place in automotive history opposed to just replicating them. A homologated factory Model would be a legendary car, while a tuned version of same chassis would stay just that. If the car on the right is in fact the homologation model it wouldn't surprise me, if it pops up in the LCD and judging by cars like the 959 or XJ220 we may get some custom parts to build authentic Gr. A Godzillas ourselves?

Yeah, they could have just add new cosmetic parts for the R32 instead of making another trim of it.

I guess they think it's different enough to be separate models. Wonder where will they put the Nismo version.

The old Giulia is cool though, I love that car.

Yes it is cool generally, but not that cool when from just 3 cars, one is just a slightly different version of one we already have.
I’m able to kind of replicate a different version of a car like the R32, but I can’t replicate a Bugatti Type 35 or a Mercedes 190 Evo.

Like someone suggested before, it would cool if they just release one (or more) updates with some different versions of existing cars, like some dozens. I guess that wouldn’t make a lot of work compared to modeling a totally new car and it would make freshen up the UCD for example. In that way a lot of more people would welcome these different versions I would guess, instead of making it seem as if they take away the place of a totally new car (regardless if it’s true or not).

I hope they fix the shape of the R32 GT-R's exhaust, it's completely wrong since GTHD and still wrong despite the car itself was almost entirely remodeled in GT SPORT.
(Actually no modern racing game has the R32 GT-R with a correct exhaust, though)

If anyone hasn't noticed yet, variant models are still a thing in current GT but they're only included if there are significant body style or parts changes to the car, so I reckon the new R32 coming up has the ducts on the front bumper that are not possible to install in the current R32 model we have.

Hi there! Question: I golded all Missions and Licenses, most of the circuit experiences (didn't gold the Nürburgring and didn't try Bathurst yet) and so on. No problem. Also the single player races seem easy mostly. But the 950 pp races in America (Grand Valley and Road Atlanta) are pretty impossible for me and i have to think of lowering the difficulty to medium or even easy. Am i the only one?

No. There are, probably, one third of players use each difficulty. Anyone doing constant Le Mans races will probably stay with easy as coming anywhere but first is bad for the bank balance.

Well I don't really know if you tried to answer my question. Which is: are these races harder than the rest for you guys? Because everything else (and that includes LeMans and the other gring races) is no problem and more fun on hard.

No, GT6 didn't have licensed aero parts - the aero customization for Premium/Detailed cars in PS3-era GT Auto work the same as here (front/side skirt/rear parts - no hood apart from carbon hood). There were also lots of pre-tuned cars in that game.

Yeah, some are definitely-harder!

When I hit a wall with progress I usually resort to an F1 car.

LMP cars blow my doors off on the straights but I make the corners count.

Still a challenge, but at least it's doable. Haven't caved into lowering the difficulty so far IIRC...
