From 2021 Pebble Beach and Monterey Car Week, Hyundai/Genesis seems to have something teased...

Lovely. Good way to get players selecting that manufacturer.

Generic track or a Hyundai facility?

They don't exist outside of drawings.

The question I have is what the actual hell circuit is that?
Only one I could think of, is the Korean International Circuit. That has orange seast. Not sure about that archway in the background, past the pit area.

Fictional, I'm pretty sure. The reflections in the glass of the first one shows a very iffy looking bridge over the track with minimal protection. Bridges over real tracks are always covered/enclosed or with walls 7ft+ high. This one looks rather unsafe, barely shoulder high. Plus it cuts through the middle of the grandstand, also pretty unlikely in a real circuit.

Who made it and for what purpose, who knows. It looks like the Genesis logo on the bridge so probably a Hyundai job, or it could be a PD track they mocked up for them.

So this pretty much confirms Genesis' presence as a manufacturer in GT7. I just wonder if it will co-exist alongside Hyundai in the Manufacturer's Series. I mean, Toyota and Lexus do.

Pretty sure Lexus is big and independent enough to decide if it wanted to as well. They've been alongside Toyota since GT2 So why wouldn't they now?

Likewise, I don't see an issue with Genesis Appearing alongside Hyundai. If anything, this could mark a big enough push to really go aggressive with getting the brand even more out there.

Genesis-X Concept Gr.3 and three variants of a Genesis VGT (might be for Gr.1 too) is a go then.
If you look closely, you can clearly see ray-traced reflections... which would mean that these screenshots are taken from GT7... but in this instance I would say they are not. Maybe models are from GT but shaders and materials (especially on everything other than the car) look very off and low quality.
Anyway... when we are going to some new GT7 footage? How long must we wait?

GT7 is a 2022 game. This could mean early or late 2022 with the PSVR2 release. As long as the game looks impressive and not just GTSport+, I'm ok with this radio silence. FH5 will be the 2021 car game of many people, me included.

Speaking of, there are cars from even years ago that won a GT award that haven't been included in the game. Has it been confirmed that they would actually be modelled and included if they win?

Well, that answers my question on what car would it even be able to race with.
