I had high hopes for Project CARS 3.
Ever since they drop that trailer from PSN, the more I watch it ( and I have watched it a handful of times already), the more I think the way Kaz, PD approaches racing as game is something that suit me a lot more...
The calm, soothing, semi serious and high quality eye candy... That's matching much more with I enjoy console racing.
No other car game does it like Kaz, they either don't want to or they simply can't.
That's why GT is so different, unlike any other, and why I love GT.
We all know GT is not perfect, but at least it is closest to the ideal. Long live PD.
I am beyond the "score the most points for ramming my opponents at every opportunity", I am beyond the positive affirmation pat on the back "you hit the perfect corner and line" during a race...
If you race clean, this is not the first or the only thing you are concerned most with...
The fake visual effects to make you feel you are flying at 1000mph when you are only doing 110...
Real racing is stressful, you don't want to make it more stressful than necessary... Gimmick visual effects that I saw on the PC3 trailer is a huge turn off for me...
I am now very confident that Kaz will deliver a superior product, and I will want no doubt...
Looking forward to my GT7 comfort food...
Too bad I will have to shell out more money for the PS5...
... Which I cannot realistically afford even at the end of this year... But that's just me personally...
I will have to enjoy GT7 from afar, vicariously through all of you...
I already know I don't and won't have enough time to play GT7 to justify spending $600 for it.
See you all in 5 years.
