Not much interested in these. Certainly not at 5m and 20m... I'll pass on the Abarth too...

Normal gameplay time to earn: 101 hours!!!

And some still defend this, one of the all-time great RPG's, Final Fantasy 7, takes less than 40 hours to complete. Earning one car in GT7 takes more than twice as long as one of the most revered RPGs of all time takes to complete.

Something something two weeks something something don't have to buy them.

I've yet to see an actual, solid argument in support of it. Likely because there really isn't one.

EDIT: Also I believe that time is based on doing custom races. If you solely race online, it'll take even longer.

It's bonkers,I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the update will level things out and ease the grind for us.However if it doesn't you ll still get the diehards defending the game whatever happens.

Not a gripe, more a note.On the ps5 version they removed the 7.1 sound option in the options tab but on the ps4 i see it's still available. Is this likely to come back on the ps5?

Is anyone else a bit in limbo? I’ve done the cafe and the licence tests. What I really want to do next is the missions and circuit experience, however with the news that the payout for gold on these will be increased in an update, I’m loathe to do so. I don’t have faith that those who’ve completed them already will get the compensation so I’m holding off until I know for sure meaning I’m grinding away on races until it hits. Is anyone else in the same boat or is it just me??

Yeah. Just wainting for payments update with more serious playing. I hope it will come this week to be honest...

Still playing Horizon Forbidden West so i don't feel rush to play GT7 in its current state.

I am playing for fun, so after menus and license tests I have now completed missions all gold. Circuit experience now on 55%, am starting on the non championship Gr 3 and 4 races.
I am not waiting for credit improvement update. I play for fun, not money.

Kinds hoping they'll gift us the credit difference. Unlikely, or at least reset progress so we can earn the bigger bucks in the circuit experiences.

What I would do if I owned the Gran Turismo franchise.

Better communication, no Macrotransactions, better balance of vehicle performance, budget time more efficiently, GPS track path editor, mod support, available on all main platforms with cross play, do what I mentioned in PD Logic videos, and pioneer my passion project.

After doing my daily run yesterday, I tried switching my time zone in the PS settings so that my clock would be just after midnight since I thought I would not have time today to do my miles. So yesterday evening I got 2 roulette tickets in one hour for doing my 42km. Since it is raining now I decided to play GT7 and it appears that my counter is 0,0 again? So now I'm wondering can I do this everyday and double my roulette tickets? Has anyone else tried this?

They'd better ! I just spent hours very late at night trying to gold these crazy Drift missions!

Kaz said to expect the next update on the beginning of April, so it technically has to be this week. Next week (Monday) starts on the 11th, so it won't be beginning of April anymore. Especially considering that PD's updates are usually released from Tuesdays to Thursdays, in this case being 12-14th of April, which is definitely not the beginning of the month.

But the 'you don't need it' argument is a really great one? Lol.

No it's not. As humans we need very little. Food, water, shelter. That's about it. Doesn't make a great defence of anything just because it's a want, not a need.

Imagine if tomorrow the price of everything we didn't need went off the charts

TVs, $250,000+
Mobile phones, $5000+
Slice of Pizza, $120
Gran Turismo 7 itself, $1000

Would you say "You don't need those, so it's ok" to that? I'd assume not. If you're going to defend that you need more than "you don't need them".

Lol this is a hilarious dumb argument against a game.

You can complete the game with 10 cars. Should we be ok with that?

I don't know how that's a relevant question?
It's not about needing a car. So it's irrelevant to answer someone's wish to buy a videogame car with the counterargument that he doesn't need it.

It's about wanting to drive a car in a game you paid 80€ for. It's okay to work for it as the series always pushed you, but we're getting to the point where people have to drive 400 laps on a oval to buy 1 car. It's a bit much.

Look, everything shows certain decisions were taken to push people towards mtx. That is okay in some sense, but to see people failing to understand that and even thinking it's a nice ingame addition so you keep playing is quite comical to me.

Well I agree with that, we seem to be talking at crossed wires here or one of us has misunderstood the other.

When I posted this:

That was me mocking people who said such a thing, not me saying that.

Oh I'm really sorry then lol. My mistake.

Thought so
Perhaps the condition is random
Whenever I get a 1 or a 2-star ticket, I know what's in my fate. A ridiculous 5k credits.

Does the roulette ticket star rating depend upon the event taking place in? As You all know, we every day get a daily workout ticket but I feel when about to finish the 40km mark, the star rating of the ticket depends upon the event in which you crossed the daily workout limit.
If I were to cross the 40km limit in a license test, I know I atleast got a 2star ticket. If I'm in a menu book race, I could get a 1-star ticket.
I could be wrong though....
A popular theory but an incorrect one. It's all random. The roulette trick just proves th

It's the timezone trick. You could get about 30 tickets a day if you're dedicated and don't sleep.

I'VE FINALLY DONE IT
Now i have 14.000 cr, but it was worth everything

Here comes the patch!!

Alright, they're patching something in tomorrow. I'm hoping for just the credit payout fixes to be honest, I don't care if I have to wait longer for actual car & track DLC. I'm still waiting for all of the base game content to be available.

Speaking of which, I bought this last night. I just was too tired to export and share my pictures. I'm happy with how it drives, I don't know how realistic it is, but I'm happy with it as is.

EDIT:
I'm at the moment trying out the normal e30 M3 that showed up at the UCD. It does feel a bit different from the Sport Evo, the Sport Evo was a bit more lively. Which I guess it would be considering it's the faster M3. Also, I still can't believe PD decided to add another e30. We didn't need it, but they did it anyway.

Hmm. It could very well be in preparation for the big April patch they have promised us. I am hopeful that tomorrow, I will wake up to better payouts, but I will remain cautiously optimistic.

are there any different custom parts for the E30 compared to the Sport Evolution?
