Nopes, it's not like the Circuit Experience, it works the same as the Time Trial in Sport Mode. You get the amount associated with your position. Won both races already and got 1mil each.

Given that nobody could sell anything before today yet they still have graphs of fluctuating values from before then I find it hard to believe these figures are anything to do with user activity. Probably just generated server side as whatever they want.

Did you think she wasn't real? Do you think any of the people that appear in GT7 aren't real?

It would make sense that they were testing their algorithm over that period. But it's PD so who knows.

Thoughts on the new "Popular Users" bit in Showcase...

A really cool feature to find some of the most popular users, but just wondering how the "rankings" are calculated? Just checked through the list and I've got more followers, content, likes and reposts than some of the users in the top 100 but I'm not there. Is there some sort of popularity box you must tick in order to feature?

The link through from selecting a user to going to their page (at least in a PC browser) takes you to the same level of scroll as you needed to find them (ie. if you scroll all the way down to #99 / #100 and click on their link it takes you to the bottom of their gallery - which is a bit stupid...

Yeh, I like the update to Showcase section... it's still not easy enough to interact with others in Showcase IMO, but this new 'popular users' bit is really good, though I was also gutted not to be in any top 100s either

I reckon it is maybe a monthly thing, as currently #2 in the Scapes Photos ranking is a user that has featured very heavily in the last 3 Scapes updates (suspiciously so in fact), even though their images don't get a lot of likes overall. I've had two #1 trending Scapes in recent months and yet nada when it comes to ranking. I've also been largely inactive in the game for the last month or so, though, so I reckon that's got a lot to do with it!

I'm sorry, but you are mistaken I'm sure others will confirm as well soon. It even said the top prize is 1mil when opening up the Special Events tab. It's set up the same as the Time Trials, not combining all rewards, but giving out for where you place.

Been playing this morning with friends, same deal, 1mil for the win. You probably thought they would combine and didn't notice when it was paid

Yup you're right it's absolutely 1.8 mil if getting 1st place but only if it's your first time getting it while also doing the race for the first time. if you got second and then did the race again then in that case you would only get $1,000,000.

Yeah my apologies, I was so certain of this, but surely it has to be myself who didn't notice what I got paid I won both on first tries, so I guess I don't keep good enough track of my money! Can't complain, got 1.6mil mor then I thought I did

Sold a couple of unwanted dupes at lunchtime (Roulette punishments. I mean prizes) but almost all of my dupes are entirely self inflicted. I bought 3 extra Focus STs, 4 extra BMW M4 Gr4, Genesis Gr4s, Lexus Gr4s etc for a custom race (BTCC at Brands Hatch) and I'm not selling them
