Ok, so we got car selling, and I want to suggest a next thing to complain about. It came to me when I tried to simply put a license plate on my new Sierra. Had to abandon that idea because applying any decals or even changing a colour would remove the factory decals. What's the deal with it? Just reapplying those with user-made decals is not a solution, those usually have way lower resolution than original ones, and you would also need to spend some time properly scaling and placing it. I think factory decals shouldn't get removed when we change car's colour/apply other decals. Or even better, give us an option to remove/reapply those factory decals.
Yeah. I have the same problem with my Pagani Huyara. I have won full white one, but wanted to change colour to other factory "two tone" with carbon roof and it is not possible. Event if I found several (factory colors) in collections it don't want to apply.

Question: which is the better car for "oldtimer races"? Ford Mark IV Race Car 67' or Ferrari 330 P4 67'. I want to sell one of the two.

Or is the Jag XJ13 '66 any better or worse? Want to sell that too.

Anybody else notice how quiet the RS500 is?Maybe something bugged with the update?
It's almost silent, much quieter than it's own squealing tyres! I bought two - the second one now has a racing exhaust, med RPM turbo with anti-lag and racing intercooler & manifold. That one now makes a more respectable noise, although still not as much a real one with that much work done.

Thats what i want to hear. Maybe its a bug with the game update,a few of my cars are too quiet to really enjoy,Toyota supra RZ is one of them,i play in chase cam but some cars are fine.

Last I saw it was around 40 days left.

These were ridiculously easy and I was able to buy a McLaren P1 GTR after winning them both.
That'd be gutting if you'd just bought some paid credits to buy that car...

I have to admit, I mostly play in chase cam too. Occasionally in driver cam though, I love the transmission whine in the Gr3 & Gr4 cars! I think there was a patch note about adjusting some engine noise this time, so the next patch might fix the RS500 anyway. They were definitely louder than that in real life

@DJFridge nothing wrong with any car sounds, just a random bug wich drops the volume.
Jumping back to the main menu usually fixes it.

Frustrating, but it is what it is. Ive also noticed lap times have disappeared during replay. 🤷‍♂️

Is it normal that I got my birthday gift exactly one week in advance? 🤔

Plus it's bad luck to wish HB before the actual day.

Yeah the chase cam is way too quiet now.

Have a listen at the GT350R in chase cam, then listen it in interior view. Night and day.

I like the idea that someone at PD suggested they combined one of the worst driving cars with THE worst track in the game to celebrate 25 years of Gran Turismo and everybody went: “brilliant”.
I mean its the repecharge, its always the one with the bonkers combo. No exceptions.

Alright, so I got a couple notes here.

First, now that we can sell cars, and since the resale value is usually about half the original value, I'm thinkin' of just doing what a lot of people did for the "Firm Favorite" trophy, and buy ten of the GT Kart 125 Shifter. That way, I think I'll lose the least amount of credits, as opposed to buying a relatively costlier vehicle that many times.

Secondly, I've realized that I sort of prefer not to add a livery to some cars, as I feel that somehow, they look better in my eyes when they just have various custom parts installed, such as front splitters and hood pins. It's not like in GTS where we always had those number stickers plastered on, either. Heck, I don't even know if I wanna always equip custom wheels, either, since we can still widen the track even with the stock wheels. (Of course, that's if a widebody is installed to begin with.) Some of the factory wheels just seem to suit the car so well, that I can't seem to find a wheel design that could take its place, like the Porsche Taycan or the Pontiac Trans-Am. Overall, I get this gut feeling that these cars that use their factory colors/decals are more photogenic, and could make for better subjects in Scapes than my cars with custom liveries.

I'm also a bit annoyed that we still can't buy Guards Red as a custom paint, even after this most recent upate. Not that I was really gonna use it, but it seems like such an iconic color for Porsche. Ah, oh well.

EDIT: I also redeemed my engine ticket from the Mid-Engined Porsche menu today, as well as the parts ticket from the Renault menu. I got the engine from the GT-R GT500 '08, which is nice, and for parts, I got a Stage 5 Weight Reduction for the Ferrari Enzo! Yeah! Now if only I could get a Ferrari invite - though I may want it later than sooner, so that I can get enough credits for all three invite-only Ferrari models...

It’s called Indishrot in the game because that’s how it’s called everywhere except in the US to no be offensive. Also not to be confused with VW India red which was used on some Porsche (924 & 944) which is a lighter more orange shade.

Good to know, thanks for the info!

The weather is bugged again at Le Mans 30 minutes. It was broke two patches ago, fixed in the last patch and now broken again. On the upside they did really fix the pitstop issue when you turn the onscreen info to off.

Might have to be a bit more specific with "bugged".

I am thinking about selling 4 of my 5 most valuable classic sports cars. Maybe selling the Jag XJ13, the Jag D-Type, the Ford GT40 and the Ford Mark IV. So if i ever need one of these for future races i would keep the Ferrari 330 P4. Good choice?

The selling car feature being added was a breath of fresh hair for me.

I already bought all the cars in the game at least once and about 80% of them have the duplicates I need to have a stock and a fully tuned widebody version.

I've reached the point where wasting my credits tuning my road cars, even with 100% parts (all tyres, all types of LSD, all suspensions, all transmissions, every single GT Auto Part, etc) is not fast enough to keep selling all of my individual car models that I don't want (VGTs, Fictional Gr. and excessive duplicates from the roulette glitch) per day because I keep reaching the 100 million credit cap.

... And I still have over 100 million worth of cars to sell... No... I am not joking.
