If I'm not mistaken, the extra refers to the added amenities over the previous model. (Electric Windows, ABS and a Sunroof)

CH-R aside, I'm confused why they wouldn't have modeled the SiR Civic...

So they have an excuse to add another version of the car at some point. It’s something we’ve been seeing more and more, and it wouldn’t surprise me considering how many variations of JDM cars they included in older GT games.

Honda Collection Hall in Motegi where this Si resides has no EF9. Honda never kept one outside of the Idemitsu Motion Group A car.

Those cars that I have most interest in have seen an increase of between +0.5 (very rare) up to +25(also not too common), with an average of +10.
They all were supposed to be at the 600pp mark.
As usual, the Aston Martin DP100 still sits comfortably at a premium spot, and the Rotaccino with just barely 570 is in a league of its own.
The Stratos as my prefered choice, after monthes of not being "adjusted" nos creeps higher and higher and the setup I used when I started playing now propably would sit at 680pp

The car at the back of the shot did indeed prove to be a classic Honda Civic Si, but in the shape of the EF rather than the earlier AH (or AT).

Specifically, it’s the Si Extra model, which gained amenities like electric windows and optional ABS and sunroof at a mild weight penalty.

With the leaderboards reset I decided to gen an early word record in the pit in or stay out 1 mission in a meme car.

The time to beat is at the start and the tune is at the end. Cars in general now have a higher pp so for 600 pp exactly that might make for a new dominant car and I will do more testing later but I know for sure driving in rain is more fun now and using a controller seems more consistent over.

I can't imagine a better reasonable car for a young driver than a Toyota Hybrid, especially the 1.8 that the CHR initially got. Reliable like nothing else. Looks like Japan also got a 1.2 turbo non-hybrid, but the GT7 screenshots show a blue haze in the Toyota badge, meaning it's definitely a hybrid. Looking online it seems the JDM version of the CHR did get the LED taillights in the higher trims, like the "G".

Europe also got 1.2 turbo C-HR, and that engine was in C-HR that raced on Nurburgring 24h. It's a shame we haven't got that engine as would make more options for tuning and to recreate car that raced on Nurb 24h.
With no engine and transmission swaps, Toyota Hybrids have limited use in the game, they could at least add some eco challenge missions for them.

My Escudo went from 800 to 804
787B from 800 to 789
962C from 800 to 782
908 HDi from 800 to 785

Overall, looks to be a bit more breathing room extra aero and/or power.
